The story was interesting and a really like the way the author created a sense of isolation and despair. Without giving the story away, I like the way he brought the story together and set the stage. He storytelling definitely improved as the story went on. I found his flow and use of storytelling got stronger and I felt more connected to the characters as the stories progressed. I have not read the next book and this one ended in a neat way so that you don't feel as if you have missed anything but at the same time, it will be nice to revisit this world in the future.
The audiobook was well done and I liked the voice of the narrator. A good book can be ruined by the wrong performance but this one was done well. I never felt that he misinterpreted the characters in his interpretations of them and his voices weren't to similar or to forced. All in all, it was a good performance.
If you are in the mood for a good werewolf tale. This one is entertaining and worth the read or listen.

As l dont like Horror l will probably leave at end of book 3.
If this layout type of story maybe you will carry on.
A fantastic story that keeps you turning the pages wanting to know more. The characters are strong and likeable and with a very strong storyline, this book is a winner.
Book 1 sets you up for the unfolding horror through the story of Abbey and Rob.
Book 2 onwards are about Tom, a true survivor and a character I really rooted for throughout.
His imagination is awesome I have read so many of his books. They just get better as I go on. This set is quiet different from the zombie books one obsessed with. But what a wow surprise they were. Just starting book four it's 3_30am can't put it down.
The writing style is fast paced and flowing and the twists are gentle and kept me interested
It's well written, atmospheric and brimming with tension and action.
Well worth reading.
