Annie Prince, spur the moment, jumps on a plane from New York to Sydney. She's meeting Dylan Sullivan, whom she met at an online dating site. Once there, she finds she and Dylan got their wires crossed. She's stranded in Australia and Dylan is in New York! Dylan's twin brother, Hunter, still at the airport, saves the day, and takes Annie back to the family's cattle station.
Once there, Annie finds that Hunter is just as gorgeous as Dylan. She came to Oz to meet one brother but her chemistry with Hunter is off the charts! She's in a quandary about what to do!
Hunter thought his brother was stupid to travel half way around the world to meet a woman. That is until he meets Annie. She is everything he never thought he wanted in a woman. Hunter tries to be true to his brother-he really does, but he just can't keep his hands off Annie. And she doesn't want him to!
Gosh this was such a treat! I loved everything about this audiobook! I was intrigued with the blurb and once the story got going, I was sucked in! I really liked both Annie and Hunter! Both had an easiness about them, and they just "got" each other. I knew what was coming and I was getting anxious towards the time that Dylan was supposed to return. I hoped it would be good in the end and it was!
I have read other books by Mari Carr and Lexxie Couper, but this was the first audiobook of their's I've listened to. Their choice of narrator is what made this story authentic. I am hooked and now want to listen to the other books in this Foreign Affairs series!
4.5 stars/3.5 flames
Annie Prince is the sensible sister that wanted a real job as a reporter/writer, not one her billionaire father simply bestowed upon her (like buying her the entire newspaper!) One drunken night with her bestie Monet lead to her establishing an online dating profile and chats with an Australian cowboy Dylan. Dylan soon captured her heart, and she sets out to visit him. However, she and Dylan seems to have crossed wires, as she landed in Sydney just as he left for New York (to meet her there!) fortunately, Dylan's twin brother Hunter saved the day and brought her back to the station ("ranch" to you Yanks) where she's to follow him around to learn how to run a station... and Annie fell for Hunter, head over heels, and vice versa. Hunter would never consider poaching his brother's girl, but Annie is just too sexy. And Annie was delighted in that there are no paparazzi's here to ruin her day. But her assignment only lasts two weeks, and what happens when Dylan finds out?
As you can probably guess, instead of Annie / Dylan pair up, you actually have Annie falling for Hunter, and Dylan went to NYC and fell for Annie's bestie Monet, which is Book 2 in the series. But really, Annie was in love with Dylan, but since Hunter's around, she fell for Hunter instead? So... fickle! Eh... Well, at least the sex is hot.
This is Annie's Story. When she arrives in the Outback to discover that Dylan is gone to the US, her concern is shared by Dylan's twin brother Hunter. Hunter and Annie have the recipe for steam!
Each book is a complete story about different characters although linked to the other stories and an HEA ending . Absolutely a series of five-star reads .
Hunter is Dylan's twin and thinks his brother is crazy to fly to America to meet a girl he has never met. His brother's name is called over the intercom and he goes to see what is going on. There he meets Annie and her thinking its Dylan starts kissing him. Hunter explains about his brother but Annie has already got her boss to let her write a story about the ranch. So she stays.
Now Hunter and Annie try to keep their hands off each other until they talk to Dylan. But will Hunter be enough to keep Annie there or will she return to New York?
Short but great story. Funny. Sex. A little bondage.
