About the Author
Hersh Mendel (Manny) Steinberg, born in Radom (Poland) on the 25th of May 1925 is a self made man. Although Manny spent his early years in German Camps and never attended school past the 3rd grade, he managed to always support his family while providing a foundation of strength and love. "Outcry - Holocaust Memoirs", Manny's life story, has captured the miracle of one man's determined will to survive.
The autobiography was written to fulfil a promise the author made to himself during the first days of freedom. It is an account of human cruelty, but also a testimony to the power of love and hope. By publishing his Holocaust memoirs, the author wants to ensure that the world never forgets what happened during WWII.
"Not a day goes by that I do not think of my childhood or family, but as long as I'm allowed to be here on earth, I will wake up everyday feeling fortunate and blessed."
"When the German soldiers killed everyone I loved, I knew my purpose was to not merely exist but to live."
"I live for my wife, children, grandchildren and now my great-grandchildren."
Manny attributes his tenacity in pursuing his book publication to his wife of over 60 years:
"Without the support of Mimi, it would have been very difficult to write my story."

Then he gifted me this amazing book which i will cherish since it is a living history and an amazing story of survival and continuation of life despite all what he went through.Out of the ashes came a light and great success.I heard so much about the Holocaust and what people went through but his book made me live it through the eyes of a child who actually experienced the horror for so many years.
The book will take you back in time to smell and feel real life and what went through a horrible time of humanity and from that we should learn to never again to have anything like this happen and from that we should learn to love each another and appreciate our differences and respect our cultures.Thank you Mr Steinberg.
If you like the history of the holocaust and WWII you must read this personal account from this author now living in America. My book was downloaded onto my Kindle and you can get yours now from Amazon. I do recommend it.
One should think that by now those atrocities have disappeared, but unfortunately, that is not the case. We are now aware of the beheading of people and atrocious acts of several new groups. Manny Steinberg’s memories is a must read for all!
Those of you who are in a book club, you need to consider this for a future read. It's not an "easy" read, no book about the Holocaust could ever be easy. But it's a story everyone needs to know, there were children in the camps, and this story about how one child survived is a must read.
