The field is completely lit and looks almost as well as an overcast day. At 240' away I cast a distinct shadow (2 actually) against a wall of a small building and I can easily hold a book up and read the letters. On the far edge of the property about 450' away, you can make out faces and structures but no chance of reading a book. I could have gotten better results had I centered the light to shine at the 200' mark but my main purpose was this field and it did exceedingly well.
The housing is very good, while made of aluminum it's nice and thick. The mounting bar is made of steel which is nice.
The only issue I can say is mine did not come with enough hardware, only 3 side bolts. 2 for the mount and 1 in the center of the arm, the 4th bolt to lock it in place was not there and the slides are a little weird. There isn't a place to use a carriage bolt and all the bolts and slots are in metric. I ended up using a 1/4" carriage bolt that I had to drill out the slide arch out to and hammer into place then used locking washer in the middle (also not supplied) and a split-ring locking washer on the sliding part. I also ended up mounting my own hardware to the mounting arm since the holes and cross provided seemed like some sort of proprietary mount.

I was informed that Larson K are not authorized to sell our products on the Amazon platform. I am afraid that we will not be able to provide you with warranty service in this case. I recommend you to contact Larson K directly in order to provide you with the necessary help.
I apologize for this inconvenience and hope you will understand us.
1. The product has been awful and lasted only about 2.5 moths. Regardless of the vendor, the product is NOT designed to last. The flaw is clearly indicative of a defective product.
2. The manufacturer, Lighting EVER LTD, would like for you, the consumer, to review the vendor contract with Amazon and to make certain the vendor has been approved by Lighting EVER, LTD. (I am sure that Amazon will be happy to provide you with the vendor contract to review before you click the purchase button <sarcasm>.)
PROS: WOW that thing is bright. To my eyes it is brighter than the 1500 watt quarts halogen it replaced. To me that was a pleasant surprise. I hope the make a light like this that has a remote ballast so the weight can be displaced away from the mount. So far, very pleased.
I was not expecting it to be soooo bright!!! I will post a picture tonight but I mounted it probably 12-14 feet high above my garage door and right under is like being in plain daylight.... the whole driveway is 50 feet long from where the light is mounted and you can clearly see perfectly all the way at the end....
Looking for other places to use this much light to get another one...
Side notes: The light cost to buy may seem high, but it is super cheap to run. I did the calculations for my area and it would cost me like 2.78 CENTS!!! to run this light for an hour... the amount of light provided for that price makes it a no-brainer if you have a place to mount it high enough.
Make sure that you can mount it high enough. If you don't it will blid you every time you look into the light general direction.
It is heavy and I'm not kidding you. I was able to do it myself but I really wish I would have waited to get somebody to help me out mounting it up. There is not a whole lot of clearance between the actual fixture housing and the bracket, so you have to mount the bracket first. That is the easy part... bringing the actual light up and bolting the housing to the bracket with one hand while holding the light with the other one is not a funny job...
I would get somebody else to help if I would have to do it again.
