I'm sorry I hadn't ordered this years ago. The price made me hesitant, but it turned out to be such a great set. It even comes in a great box that can be used to store the set in after Christmas that is just the right size. So easy to put together, it only took me about ten minutes total. Looks beautiful with a LED spotlight on it and wrapped in battery powered LEDs. We hope to get more characters in the set from Outdoor Nativity Store next year. We have so much thanks to God for his grace.

Very beautiful and am very happy with it. I purchased this for Christmas 2014 to try it out. It held up really well in the elements. I added to it this year and will again for this coming Christmas. I highly recommend. All I have to figure out is the appropriate lighting to show it off better.

Designed and built well. The large size is great. Christ is the whole reason for Christmas.

Easy to put up and (will be easy to take down). Just need a rubber mallet to pound the heavy duty PVC pipe stakes into the ground. Very easy to do. Looks great.

A Beautiful Nativity at a Good Price, Made in the USA!

I'm very happy with my nativity! The package arrived quickly and was deceptively small. Once everything was assembled, it was perfect for my small front garden. The box included directions for how to assemble the nativity and a link to watch video directions. It was quite easy to do. I decided to take the advice of other reviewers and I bought a solar powered spotlight to show it off (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01MRLCHUP/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1). The effect was perfect! I very much prefer a religious theme for my Christmas decorations and this was one of the nicest nativities I've seen and it's crafted in California, USA.

There is PVC pipe on the back of each piece. I placed some rebar in the ground and slid the piping over it.
It prevents the wind from blowing it down. I have added lights. Of course, it is prettier at night .

Very sweet Nativity Scene!

I am thrilled with this Nativity Set, having finally found an outdoor Nativity that I could afford and maintain. It arrived early and in excellent condition. I used a mallet to assemble the pieces and it was easy. I had a little trouble with the star, but quickly remedied the problem by separating the stable "walls" a bit further apart. To add a bit of dimension, I placed Mary a bit closer to the manger and set Joseph a couple inches more forward. Plus, the hay helps to add depth, as well. I used an energy-saving "1300 lumens" spotligjht which was only about 26 watts, but had the brightness of about 90 or 100 watts. But, be sure to screw it in snugly, or it won't light (once I had it secured, there was no further difficulty). I put the spotlight about 8 or 9 feet from the Holy Family: It looks wonderful! The colors are vibrant, both day and night. Several neighbors have already complimented this display. I took photos of my daughter and nieces around this Nativity, and it came out adorable --- "sendable quality." Perhaps I will order more additions (Wise men, shepherds, angels, etc.), next year, as the shipping box had an order form enclosed. Obviously, am I very happy with this Nativity set, and would recommend it to anyone, including non-mechanical type people like myself. The instructions are clear and step-by step.

We've been wanting an outdoor nativity set for more years than I can remember. Up until now, all sets I found were priced well above our range and they were so big we'd have to rent a storage unit so store them.

This set is perfect. It is made of materials that will last for many years. The characters are flat (not three dimensional) allowing for easy storage.

I only wish we had the money at the time to have purchased the entire set, but we will get the rest by next Christmas for sure.

Delivery was fast (though we live in the same state in which they're manufactured). The straw was a nice touch, and the spotlight is rather nice. I half expected a cheap one.

We experience severe wind conditions, known as Santa Ana winds. I feel that the nativity will hold up, but will report back how everything went (setup, appearance, wind, etc.) after the holiday season.

We set it up Thanksgiving weekend. Couldn't have been easier. Not long afterwards we had at least 6 straight days and nights of rain. I've waited a couple of days to allow the set to dry, and gave it an inspection.

I honestly can't tell that it just spent a week in the rain. There is not any swelling or warping of the pieces, nor color fading. We will definitely purchase the remaining pieces in time for next year (been taxing the self control to wait).

Next test - Santa Ana winds

I still recommend this product and will definitely report on the winds (presuming we have them) and anything else y'all might like to know.
