If you just need an emergency tarp for temporary rain coverage, or a one time use tarp (cover a truck bed for a move or something), its fine. But this tarp is really thin, and not very durable. After the last camping trip where I used it as a tent footprint, the tarp stayed behind in the dumpster. Seems like some water came up through it, though I'm not 100% sure on that one. Anywhere that was stepped on resulted in the blue layer peeling off. I even found it pierced by a pine needle as I was picking it up.
As long as you know what you are getting, no hard feelings. After all, it did serve its purpose by existing in the truck when we forgot the better, thicker tarp at home.
