Outdoor Research Flurry Gloves
Outdoor Research Apparel and Gear
Outdoor Research designs and builds the most bombproof climbing, skiing and mountaineering apparel and gear in the world. And because of that, alpine climbers and ski mountaineers have relied on our gear to keep them shielded from the elements since the introduction of the X-Gaiter in 1981. We’ve elevated our designs, offering apparel and gear that’s purpose-built for higher elevations and variable climates while still retaining that laser focus on defense against brutal conditions and bone-chilling temperatures. By gathering product feedback from an amazingly talented – and opinionated – team of ambassadors, and by integrating the lessons we’ve learned from the customers in our Lab Rat gear test program, we’re proud to make some of the most breathable, comfortable, protective and functional outdoor apparel and gear and in the world. And on top of that, we think it looks pretty damn good.

I have Raynauds Disease, an auto immune disease that cause the small blood vessels in the hands and feet to close when exposed to cold. These gloves are amazing. When MANY other gloves have fail these have not! I would recommend these to anyone and everyone.

I purchased these in the black, and they are very nice looking. They are almost grey and they work well with down jackets or dressier coats. My other gloves (knit gloves and Isotoners) did not keep my hands warm enough. I do not have any issues with the wind getting through the gloves. I live in Wisconsin and have worn these in 20 degree weather when I am outside for about a half hour. If I am outside for longer or in colder weather then I will wear my snow gloves. These do fit snugly. I have thin fingers and the gloves are a tight fit. The attached "pulls" are handy for pulling the gloves on. I originally purchased a pair at REI for full price and was happy to get another pair for much less!

Casual styling means you don't look like a complete gear geek and can wear these with a pea coat or other dressy wear and look great. In the meantime, you get all the technical benefits that come standard with an OR product. Lined with thin microfleece, the shell is a woven wool/synthetic blend and holds up very nicely. The rubberized finger tip material will fall off completely within a month or so, but they're nicer gloves without it. Warm enough to use for winter bike riding down to about 30 degrees or so (depends on your personal hand warmth, but for most, this should apply). Great for a crisp day of cross country skiing where it's cold, but some sun.

I do not recommend these gloves for cold weather areas. They have not held up in Chicago cold. Couldn't even get through shoveling the driveway.

I like this glove, not, bulky, looks nice, however you can feel inside seams from stiches. Its not as warm as I expected. In the packaging its says -4 to 4C. I wish I had known this rating, so I would have gone for warmer glove for the price

I went by the Outdoor Research sizing chart, which said I should have been a small with room to spare, but the fingers are painfully tight. It's a shame because otherwise, they're nice, seemingly warm, non-bulky gloves.

I was hoping for something warmer for the price and they were way too tight. The finger grip pads seem like a good idea. I think if they fit, these might make good fall cycling gloves, but that's not what I needed.

I wanted gloves that were warm, but not bulky. These are exactly what I wanted. Gloves that are warm but allow me to open dog poop bags. Nothing is going to match mittens, but these are the warmest gloves I've tried.
