Tiny and lightweight, this waterproof permanent lighter is an inexpensive, nifty gadget. Just add several drops of ordinary lighter fluid, let the wick get wet, gently strike the side of the case with the tip of the wick and get a good steady flame! Lasts a long time with just a bit of lighter fluid.

Lighter fluid does not dry out like a zippo
Can use striker/flint with or without fluid
Burns like the dickens
Lasts a long time on each fill up
Cons (more like things you'll have a hard time with if you don't have common sense):
Clip is crap...but these cost 65 cents, what are you expecting?
Annoying to fill. Make sure you wipe them off really well and don't fill all the way or you'll spill the first few times you take the striker in and out.
Have to pay attention to which way you point the box when you're striking or you'll spill.
Some people have a steep learning curve with getting it to light. Amusing to watch to be honest.
Shipping takes a while. They're coming from freakin' China...65 cents. What do you expect?
For under an ounce totally worth adding to my repertoire of arson. I've purchased 10, all work fine. Just ordered 20 more because they're neat little gifts (tokens maybe? Trinkets? 600 years ago you could have bought Manhatten with a dozen of them I suppose?). Do better fire starters exist? Sure, but not for 65 cents.
The interior is completely plastic just covered on three sides with metal. The seal is not very good either.
When I filled it with lighter fluid then placed the striker inside to soak the wick it dripped all over the lighter on the way out. Then, the lighters are so small that i can't quite get a grip on it. The lighter fluid drips out of the wick as you strike the flint which then sets fire to not just the match but also to the entire case. Luckily the fire goes out when you drop the lighter when burning your hand.
Now if I can only keep the ones I got (everyone loves them and wants them). :)
****WARNING**** : I AM ADDING THIS FOR SAFETY-DO NOT OVERFILL.I HAD ONE CATCH ON FIRE-MY FAULT THOUGH.I overfilled one and let sit overnight. Lit it and the whole thing went up. you must take TP/paper towel and tap the body without the match in it several times to get excess out and wipe it up. Then your OK. Its very easy to overfill. Again it was my fault. They don't stomp out that easy. I did get a minor burn. So be careful.
DO NOT OVERFILL !
