Outdoor Tech’s Los Cabos Wireless Bluetooth headphones are top shelf, but without the Bentley price tag. Whether you’re a billionaire flying private or a sophomore in college eating ramen five nights a week, you can probably pop for Los Cabos, and they will definitely make you a better human being. Even the snobbiest of audiophiles rate Los Cabos Hi-Fi sound as superior to most wired sets at four times the cost, FYI, that means they sound really good. But sounding good just isn’t enough, they also need to be able to take a beating and ride shotgun on your active adventurous lifestyle (yes, crochet and speed texting count). So when things get slippery, wet, and wild, don’t worry, Los Cabos sweat proof ruggedized body will be just fine. And enough with the wires already, it’s not 2009, we know you want to stay connected, but there is NO reason to remain tethered. I think we covered it, Los Cabos by Outdoor Tech are some Stuff You Probably Want so go ahead, grab a pair, and let us know what you think.
From the Manufacturer
Like to Talk and Have Control? Figured.
Don’t think an actual phone conversation is taboo!? Neither do Los Cabos, trust us, they LOVE taking a break from your EDM mix to answer that important call from your credit card company, oops, late again! Switching from music, to a call, or activating Voice Command is as simple as pressing the tactile main function button on the right ear cup. The other four buttons control track forward/back and volume up/down allowing you to leave your phone safely stowed away is your special place up to 32 feet away.
Fashion Your Way

So, if the headphones didn't bend, I would have given them 3 stars. They are a decent set of headphones for 40 bones. But since they malfunctioned, they get two. These things happen. I'm a little bummed out about it, but I'm not sweating it.
Outdoor Tech OT1900 Los Cabos - Wireless Bluetooth Headphones (Red)
The same spot on the hinge has broken twice with Normal use, and within a few months each time.
No harsh movement or excess force.
They have a great customer service dept, but this is simply not acceptable for a product.
In short, they were a decent short term investment but didn't last the test of time.
Unfortunately, for a set of 'outdoor' headphones, these things seem to fall apart at the slightest touch. Mine broke within two weeks -- the plastic section right below the hinge snapped as I was removing it from my head (not exactly a strenuous activity). I figured there was a manufacturing defect in that specific set for them to break so easily, so I sent them in for a replacement, which I got with minimal fuss (yay Amazon!). A whopping one month in, however, I noticed that the headphones had begun to feel substantially looser around my head, and when I checked I found hairline cracks beginning in the exact same place as last time. (picture attached)
My head is not huge enough to put undue stress on a headphone band, and while I may go through workout headphones quickly I take good care of my 'around the house' headphones and had the previous pair for years. I see that other reviewers have had the exact same issue with the exact same connection point. For a $60 pair of headphones, they should have recognized this stress point and found a way to reinforce it.
For the price, these things are awesome. Haven't had any issues with them and I use them five days a week at work. Keeps charge and quality sound.
