You'll understand why left wing politician's and people in general are the darling's of modern newspaper's such as the Washington Post and MSNBC etc... And why Conservative's who support traditional family values such as marriage and working for a living are torn apart and taxed and regulated to death.
It comes down to understanding what happened to mankind when Adam and Eve chose the way of the serpent -- now it's a non-stop job to Push Away the Heaven's and God (Atlas) and basque in the glory of the Wisdom of Man (Serpent in Garden) while belittling following the God of the bible and traditional Judeo-Christian values.
If you don't believe me have your kids go to public school and say that "Evolution" is a theory and there's zero fossil or biochemical evidence to support it and you'll see what I mean. The only people today who believe Evolution is "scientific" are other follower's of the religion of Evolutionism. Any belief without evidence is a religion. Science is systematic and testable by definition.
There's something sinister going on wrapped in a facade of human wisdom and benevolence for the poor but at the same time pushing away God and the Scriptures and this book hits the nail on the head.
"The fundamental pseudo-scientific premise of the NAS[National Academy of Sciences] is this: There is no Creator/Designer. Their deductive conclusion from this arbitrary religious premise is: Therefore, atheist materialist molecules-to-man evolution must be true. That is the sum of their pseudo-science. There is nothing more to it. Inductive observation and experiment are utterly absent from their system."
This is so self-evidently false it's hard to know whether the author is dumb, dishonest, or deranged. Not even most vehement opponents of evolution believe such a thing. You can check that yourself by seeing how much time they spend trying to debunk the scientific evidence put forth for evolution. Even if they disagree with that evidence, by attempting to refute it they admit it's out there. They don't try to claim the case for evolution is nothing but "No god, ergo evolution."
So the only question is whether the author believes what he's saying. It's too obviously false for him to think he could get away with it as a lie, so he must believe it's true. But because he's dumb or because he's deranged? Impossible to say. But one thing we know for sure: No one who came up with the quote above could smart, honest, and rational.
