Outrageous is a docu-series that tells real stories of people in the LBGTQ community and their allies. Created, directed and produced by award winning filmmaker, Pony Gayle. Each episode has different guest stars and subjects. There are so many shades to the queer community and we want to give as many a voice as possible.

OUT For The Count!

The only problem with OUTrageous is that the episodes are too short. I would love to see this show on a cable network, fully funded, and promoted. As a straight white male I see the guests as friends and neighbors and kin, and I suspect that the show can go far in introducing people in the straight conservative community to the fact that people who are "OUT" are the people they work with and live with every day. And props to Solaris, who is a sensitive and gentle host and interviewer. Good job. Great job.

Wow OUTrageous team that first episode of season two is amazing! It's especially poignant to hear Sharlene talk about serving in the US military as a gay woman, particularly when when you consider how enlisted LGBTQ men and women are again facing the threat of having their right to serve and be deployed questioned by the current administration. Keep telling these important stories OUTrageous!!

I wish the show goes on forever so that we can learn more about different individuals that we never get to learn about in the mainstream media.
