Each leg is about 30" long and they can extend an additional apx 12"-15" This stand is perfect for home use because it is space sufficient and the base is triangular , therefore it can be placed in a corner , which then the legs would go next of the sides of the walls and the bag is being " pushed out" towards you , about 3ft away from the pole of the stand. I cannot say enough about how happy I am with this heavy bag stand. It is solidly built, has a smaller footprint than the other more cheaply mass-produced stands, and is customizable to fit your needs.

I live in an apartment where space is limited. I looked into hanging my 150 pound Outslayer bag from the ceiling or wall, but this just was not an option. Besides the fact that I most likely would have taken down a good portion of my building, the sound from the bag would have most likely resulted in my being evicted.

As hanging my bag was not feasable, a stand was the only solution. After much research and review reading, I came to the conclusion that this stand was going to be my best option.

I could not have been more right. This stand fits nicely in a smaller space, is built to last, and is tall enough to hang any bag. I highly recommend this stand—yes I realize it is more expensive than the other options, but you get what you pay for.

Outslayer is also a fantastic seller. Outslayer is one of the best sellers I have ever worked with on Amazon. They have amazing customer service, promptly responded to my myriad questions, and were generally very helpful and knowledgeable. I give the company five stars all the way, and look forward to purchasing from them in the future.

Along with a quality heavy bag, I needed a way to hang the bag. Hanging the bag from the ceiling or from the wall was not an option in my finished garage, so I looked for free-standing bag holders. Having experience with a cheaper bag stand, where the metal supports restricted movement and also caused injury by getting in the way when kicking the bag, I wanted a stand that would maximize my ability to use the bag while minimizing the amount of space it took up in my garage.

The Outslayer Muay Thai Heavy Bag Stand seems to be just what I was looking for.

The Outslayer stand came in two boxes--one box had metal pieces burst through--the delivery person was not too happy, but nothing was damaged.

The stand was easy to assemble--it took maybe 10 minutes to put everything together.

The stand is just over 7.5 feet tall, and supports up to 350 pounds. The stand comes with four (empty) sandbags that you fill with sand and place over the arms of the stand to keep it stable.

In the video I give a tour of the Outslayer heavy bag stand and show it in use.

The Outslayer Muay Thai Heavy Bag Stand fits perfectly in my garage and works well with a 6′ bag--there's a lot more space around the bag for movement, and I can hit and kick with freedom.

I think you'll have fun with this heavy bag stand.

This stand is great. It’s fairly easy to assemble with one person. It’s held together by four “heavy duty” bolts. The only problem I’ve had with the two of the bolts is that one of them broke when I was tightening it as much as I could but I just found a hardware store carrying the bolt and bought the replacement. It was less than $2.
That was about seven months ago.
Recently I decided to check how lose the bolts were and tighten any that needed it.
I found one to be a little loose and it broke when I tightened it. I just don’t remember if that’s the replacement bolt or the original one.

Package arrived sooner then delivery estimate. It arrived in two boxes. One of the boxes had the center post sticking out with exposed metal. It was not damaged though and the sleeve fits over it so you don't see it. It took about 10 minutes to set up the stand and about 15 minutes to fill the sandbags. I used 30 gallon heavy duty black garbage bags. I put them in each sandbag then filled them with sand. I was able to fit almost 50 pounds of sand in each sandbag. The stand is put together with included lag bolts which for some reason stick out an inch to an inch and a half from the metal post and appear awkward but are functional. I am using the 100 pound out slayer heavy bag with my stand and have found with the sandbags on the base it is very sturdy. Although somewhat pricey you definitely get what you pay for in a well designed well constructed stable heavy bag stand.

Seems to be the best stand out there. Love the legs and the ability to hold the 130 lb 6ft bag I have on it. Not too much sway (though I do have 6 sandbags holding it down). Main concern is bolt at the bottom holding the main pole in place (mentioned in other reviews). This is a terrible placement and seems like it could have been placed on the backside and still provide the support needed. But cut a hole in a tennis ball and seems to work ok. Otherwise, loving this stand.
