EDITED: The company contacted me after I left this review and offered to send me a whole new set to replace the other one that broke. I appreciated the offer. Definitely good customer service. I don't think my daughter is going to use that piece to cut large chunks of clay in the future as we don't want it to break again. Maybe her clay is especially hard? It's our first experience with clay. She does enjoy the other pieces for shaping and making designs and impressions in her clay projects. Changing my review to 4 stars (previously 3).
I'm especially fond of the needle tools (they're sturdy), the 'spatula' like tool for blending liquid clay and solid clay colors, and the dotting tools, even with their frail tendencies.
9/22/17 EDIT: I was contacted by the seller and offered a replacement set for the tools that had broken. I tested all of the new tools to see if they would as easily pop out of their plastic casing, but they remained in place (although not without some wiggling). The second set is satisfactory and seems much more durable than the first.
