Why do dogs feel like eating has to be a race? We have no idea, but we solved the problem anyway. Featuring meal-lengthening ridges and mazes, Fun Feeders keep pups engaged for up to 10x longer at chow time, which improves digestion while helping furry friends eat at a fun, healthy pace!
Available in 3 unique colors and designs, the Fun Feeder also features a slip-resistant base to prevent sliding and food spillage. Fun Feeders are top rack dishwasher safe, BPA, PVC & phthalate free, and available in mini (2 cups) and regular (4 cups) sizes.
Go beyond the bowl!

Dog's Diary: Day 32
My hunger strike continues (while my captors are watching). I feign that I am too weak to eat and lie helpless beside my "phun bowl". They carelessly step over me, snickering about my demise.
Now with this 60's retro psychedelic shaped safety orange dish, I have to work to get every piece of kibble. It takes me 10 minutes now to eat a 20 second dinner. Its downright humiliating. The shame - oh, the shame!
Hmmm. Come to think about it, I haven't been to the vet for a while. Phhhhhht. Just coincidence, I'm sure.
Both bowls get the job done. I don't think that one design is particularly better than the other, but really just a visual preference for the human. However, since the teal bowl is smaller, more food is stacked, allowing for slightly larger intake for the dog (assuming your dog is large enough to consume large amounts of food at one time). The larger purple bowl has the food more spread out, which should take longer. I use "should" because the dog eating out of the purple bowl finishes sooner than the dog eating out of the teal bowl, but that's likely because she tends to enjoy eating more.
Both bowls have roughly 1 cup of dry dog food in them as seen in picture.
The teal bowl has raised non-skid detachable pieces, while the purple bowl has attached non-skid pieces. Since the teal bowl has already managed to lose 2 of those pieces, the large purple bowl wins in this category. (See pictures)
Overall, I think either choice would yield desired results. If you have a dog that needs to just slow down some, the small bowl would work. If you have a dog that practically inhales their food, they'd probably be better off with the larger bowl to spread the food out more.

Definitely one to buy elsewhere and make sure you get the genuine article.
Me llégó en una caja blanca de cartón, no tiene marca, no es Outward Hound sino una copia china corrientísima de pésima calidad. No tiene la base antiderrapante y está hecha del plástico mas corriente que puede haber.
Un vil fraude
Doggy's eating time has gone from 30 seconds to over 10 minutes.
Doggy seemed to enjoy the challenge.
Bowl is easy to clean
Bowl slides around on laminate flooring, though I do not know about carpet.
The food (wet food) gets flicked out of the bowl due to doggy's determination to get to the food. Need to place bowl on a non-slip mat.
Overall: I would recommend.
I have another outward bound bowl (given as a gift) that's amazing and ordered this 1 for my other dog. I believe the 1 I've perchased is a very poor copy when I compare it to my original. The plastic is different with with no outward hound marking underneath. Most importantly it is missing the non slip feet. My dog can easily tip the bowl over and believe me he was at the back of the queue when they handed out brains!
My dog(s) enjoys using this product, and I rotate it between my two with another slow feeder I have to keep it a bit different.
Not difficult to clean by hand, either. I use for kibble, but would be good as a water bowl, too, if needed.
