Comes ready made just slide the legs together, quite sturdy and portable. The angle of the top can easily be changed to fit your needs within seconds.
Has borders both sides to stop things sliding off, meaning it doesn't have two open sides where your arm can rest without leaning on the border
I use it as a computer desk, as I tend to change chairs, and move it to another room if we have quests
Ease of use?
Very easy to move, and use
Not really an issue but if you removed the top and flipped over could half the storage space
Good price for a decent table, all seems well built.
Haven't had it long but I think it will last
Looked like an interesting package and L shaped box but protected enough.
Goes well with?
I use this as a computer stand very good as one
Worth the money and used in many different ways, for food, computers or a writing desk.
It looks good, is well constructed and easily cleaned. It only reaches about halfway across the bed and wouldn't be suitable for me to eat a proper meal. No similar problems when used with the wheelchair. Plenty of room for all my bits and pieces including my phone,laptop-tablet and earphones. The tilt facility would be very useful for those who prefer to read hard copy.
It comes in one L shaped parcel sellotaped in the middle by what seemed like a whole roll! I resisted the temptation to open at the ends and split the parcel in the middle and just pulled apart. You then have the table in two parts. Slot both together - you may need help if like me you have weakness - adjust for height and tighten the two knobs. Job done, even the castors are already fitted, a job I find difficult. The manufacturers have made it as easy as they reasonably could to put together.
For the price I think this is a really good product.
The table comes in two sections:
1) the tabletop, beneath which are attached the bars one inserts into the frame.
2) the frame and casters.
The Frame itself is welded into position, meaning adjustment is impossible; on the table I received, these were welded poorly and the upward bars stood at starkly differing angles. The bars are the integral feature of the design - one inserts the tabletop into these to 'assemble' the table, and adjust height and angle, and so on. When the tabletop was inserted on the table I received, it jutted off to the side at an angle. This would not have been an issue if it were a minor discrepancy, but this was a very evident flaw which meant adjusting the table was nigh-on impossible.
The second issue became apparent after unpacking the table ready for return: the MDF tabletop had broken free of one of the screws holding the bars beneath. Clearly, the screws need to be of a higher, more suitable quality, as the ones used during the assembly are insufficient.
All in all, the table was a disappointment, even with initially low expectations.
