Hi;
I read this book a while back and much other material related to the Accuser of the Brethren. I found it to be right on the mark and a great deal of help. Rick's entire Overcoming series is very good and covers many of the common problems we have as Christians.
Many of Rick's books have greatly helped me to identify, pray into, and gradually overcome these issues in my life. Of course, we are all a work in progress!!
Highly recommended if you need help in this area. Marvin Miller

In Part II, When Heaven and Hell Collide, on page 19 the author states "Moses RESTRAINED the Lord from destroying Israel because he knew the whole world would say that God could deliver His people from Egypt, but He DID NOT HAVE THE POWER to bring them into the Promised Land."
SCRIPTURE SAYS: Exo 32:11 And Moses BESOUGHT the YHWH his ELOHIM, and said, YHWH, why doth thy wrath wax hot against thy people, which thou hast brought forth out of the land of Egypt with great power, and with a mighty hand?
Exo 32:12 Wherefore should the Egyptians speak, and say, For mischief did he bring them out, to slay them in the mountains, and to consume them from the face of the earth? Turn from thy fierce wrath, and repent(Nacham) of this evil(ra'ah) against thy people.
One word stands out for the first part of the sentence: BESOUGHT. The difference between RESTRAINED and BESOUGHT is the difference between prevented and begged. They have nothing in common.
And the difference between "He did not have the POWER to bring them into the Promised Land" and "Wherefore should the Egyptians speak, and say, For mischief did he bring them out, to SLAY them in the mountains, and to CONSUME them from the face of the earth?" is the difference between ABILITY and INTENTIONS.
Let the buyer beware any book written by a member of the Knights of Malta. It is chock full of perversions and false doctrine. This in only ONE three examples of perverting Scripture on the same page.

First let me qualify my review in saying that I have ony read two of Joyner's pieces, "Overcoming Witchcraft," and "Overcoming the Accuser." I did not think that "Overcoming the Accuser" was very good. The book did not seem to go in a logical order or really say very much at all. There were a few good points, however, which is why I gave it 2 stars and not just one. It's okay, but read his other stuff first!
