I am from Argentina and I own a restoration Garage, let me tell you the guys that work on that show are very good profesionals. They do, great restorations with just some minor touches of excentricity. If you love cars, this is a MUST show, just sit down in front of the TV and enjoy the best rides ever.

This is not a bad series but with frustratingly little detail on the cars themselves. The producers waste time on foolish diversions with the presenters and some of the artisans who do the work. It's hard to believe they actually 'overhaul' the cars to such a degree in only a week. I'm not sure I'd want to drive a car that's been done so quickly and with apparently miniml/no testing. It's a bit tough on the car owners who spend a week thinking their car has been stolen or whatever - although at least the endings are happy. I guess TV producers are trying to make a product with wider appeal, but for a car enthusiast hoping to learn more about how cars can be improved, it's frustrating!

This set of DVDs were very, very nice. I hope the next season they show more details on customizing the cars.

Better than Pimp My Ride because the modifications to the cars are artful, tasteful, and functional. They actually rebuild engines and do other things to recondition the entire car. No bowling ball cleaners in the trunk or anything lame like that.

I love this show, they take some autos in very bad shape and turn them into some very good looking and running works of art. The main thing is they are keeping them on the road where they should be instead getting crushed in junk yards.

In the first season they overhauled cars from people that really needed it due to lack of funds. Then they just started overhaulin cars for people that had like 10 cars and tons of money that could afford to due it for themselves while the cars look really really good and chip foose is very talented the fact that overhaulin went from a very excellent show to only overhaulin stars cars made me rate it at 2 stars but chip foose I would have to say he gets a 10 for his designs and vision of top quality cars.

Unrealistic timetable for the average shop and individuals, but we can't dealing with meet mortals here. You have a who's who of builders, tech's from all corners of the automotive industry with purse strings of some of the best known aftermarket shops willing to put up crazy and often times extreme items to do the build for ad time. Wish I could get just a little basic help with my ride. The dude on the first episode was clueless and it was anticlimactic. Keep the hottie though, she definitely helps pull the show through.
