- Reviewed in the United States on August 25, 2022This is a great book with helpful information. I loved it and my grandkids too! Worthwhile purchase.
I bought this book for me and I'm 82 years old. Grandkids are 12, 15, 17.
- Reviewed in the United States on August 12, 2012Yes this is a kids book but it was recommended to me by a biologist. It is simple to understand and had a lot of information I didn't know. The illustrations are wonderful. This book is so good I've found it on others desks in the office. Apparently it comes with invisible legs.
- Reviewed in the United States on February 19, 2019One of my favorite books growing up! Still have my copy and sharing it with my kids!!!
- Reviewed in the United States on September 18, 2005Owls: Whoo are they? is a very good introductory book for young children on the fascinating subject of owls. The book covers all aspects of owl behaviour and discusses its various unique characteristics. It also touches on the owl in mythology and its conservation. The text is well written and introduces a number of key terms. In terms of the illustrations, I hate to say it, but I wasn't overly impressed. Overall, though, I did like this book.
