This is an upgraded data cable for DJI Mavic Mini / Mavic Pro / Spark / Mavic 2 Pro & Zoom, you can use it to connect the drone to phone / tablet in flight to view and transfer the real time video / images.

DJI GO 4 app can take up to 30 seconds to connect to the controller

I had difficultly using this cable at first thinking that the cable is bad. I was impatient in waiting for the DJI Go 4 app to connect to the RC at the app's home screen and continue clicking the "Enter Device" button (displayed at the bottom-right corner of the home screen), where it presented me with these options:
- Activate the Aircraft
- Connect to the aircraft
- Enter the Camera View
I chose "Connect to the aircraft" option and there was no option to connect the RC to the phone using the OTG cable, only options to connect via WiFi. Other times, the option to connect using the cable was present, but the app failed to connect to the RC.

For the app version and the RC firmware version listed above, this is how you can reliably connect the app to the RC:

Turn WiFi off or disconnect it from the RC if already connected.

1. Power on the aircraft and then power on the RC, wait for the red light on the RC to turn green.
2. Open the DJI GO 4 app and leave it at its home screen, but make sure you select Spark or your aircraft at the top-left corner of this screen.
3. Connect the host end of the cable (white connector) to the phone and connect the black end of the cable to the RC.
If this is the first time you connect the cable after the app has launched, the phone may ask you to allow it to open the app automatically next time the cable is connected. You can reply as appropriate to your need. Make sure that the phone is charging its battery from the RC power source, indicating that the cable is connected correctly, otherwise reconnect either end or both ends of the cable until the charging icon on the phone is displayed.
4. Wait at least 30 seconds for the app to connect to the RC and GO FLY.

Once the RC and the app is connected, with the cable still connected, I closed the app and reopen it, this time, it only take a few seconds for the app
to reconnect to the RC.

The cable included with the keyboard is straight, and so the plugs stick pretty far of the back, and I wanted something with a lower profile.

This O'woda cable does the job. The braiding and wire inside aren't too thick and so they're not super stiff, which is a bonus for my needs: the cable doesn't spring back when I roll it up for travel or when I tuck it under the keyboard.

It's not a fancy cable and I don't know how durable it will be. But it works well for my needs.

It comes packaged in a nice little cardboard box, instead of the usual plastic baggie, which is a nice touch.

Quality UTG Cable Used for Hubsan Zino to Samsung Galaxy Tablet

Although I misjudged the length and needed about another 2 inches for my intended use of having my tablet's USB port on the left, this cable works just fine if my Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10" 2016 tablet is oriented with the port on the right, where I use this cable to connect it to the controller for my Hubsan Zino drone. The Hubsan cable has two small pips in the plastic around the plug that help hold it very solid and stable that. I've found most micro USB cables I've plugged into the controller have a tendency to wobble, but the O'woda cable fits better, though still note quite as solidly as the Hubsan cable. Overally, the quality of cable construction is excellent.
