The Oxford Dictionary of Slang is a handy volume containing, of course, all those salty little words you won't find in the Dictionary. The book is set up with words listed in various categories ie. the body and its function, articles and substances, location and movement etc. There are 474 pages containing many hundreds of words and phrases. The print is very small so you might need a magnifier to read them. The index lists all the words in alphabetical order which makes them easier to locate.
It's an essential book for the writer or for anyone else who wants to know the meanings slang words and phrases.
