It is a great compendium of causation. The only think which is lacking is the representation of the eastern thought on the subject, especially the Buddhist approach to causation described in Patthana (Conditional Relations) being the 7th book of Abhidhamma - a must for a serious causation scholar.

This semester I have been teaching a class on causation for undergrads using this book. I believe the book is very useful although sometimes it is very technical and so not very useful as an introductory book. Be this as it may, it contains excellent essays on every major topic on causation and provides a good summary of the state of the art.
