After shopping for a week or so, and really comparing the various options — I honestly couldn’t figure out why this liner was half the price of its competitors. I really did my due diligence and tried to find flaws with it, but couldn’t.
Ease of installation
I installed it in 5-minutes and couldn’t be happier with my purchase. I’ve had $150 liners that were made out of lesser quality Denier nylon, and had poor quality stitching. I was skeptical about the Velcro, but the strips are located in strategic places and really hold onto the carpeted sides of the cargo area for protection. I was also skeptical about the suction cups, and considered ordering some recommended by another reviewer, but I thought I would try it with the included ones first. My Lexus RX450h has two tiny triangular windows placed high up near the roof, and right along side the rear seat headrests, but the little suction cups fit perfectly into the corner of the window and really serve their purpose to keep the sides of the liner held up. Super impressed by this feature!
Waterproofing & Durability
This liner is nothing short of awesome! It isn’t padded or quilted, which wasn’t a feature I was looking for, but the waterproofing and heavy duty nylon was a must. I ordered the XL version, so that my bumper would be protected from the dogs’ nails as they jump into the back, and it drapes over the bumper with about 6” of vertical protection. I just fold the long edge under when closing the hatch.
I have (2) 90lb mastiff mixes who don’t know their own strength. Despite their gentle nature, are living bulldozers, and inadvertently tear up dog beds, blankets, and cargo liners just by trying to fluff them up before circling around to lie down.

Too small for VW golf. No stiffness

I like the tarp material but it’s too narrow for the back of golf gti. And a few inches too short. When I was looking at the pictures, I imagined the sides had some stiffness and would hold their shape better. But it’s all pretty limp- my dog (Shiba Inu) walks over the barrier to front seats easily. I still like the material so I’ll prob just lay it flat and buy another product to block off front seats.

Nothing holds the tailgate end down so it sometimes gets pulled up. Side flaps could be longer. Velcro glue doesn't want to stick to a textured plastic.
Would be a great fit for a sportage or shorter vehicle. Still happy with purchase. Dogs are good on it and it keeps the sand and mud off the carpet.
