Never thought much about home blood pressure monitors until my wife said she wanted to purchase one from a flyer she received in the mail. That one had pretty poor reviews but got me to looking at other monitors. Didn't want to spend a lot of money and this seemed to have overall good reviews, and the price was attractive, so ordered it. Received it quickly (thanks to Prime) and we are very happy with it thus far. In addition, received an email from Ozeri customer support offering any assistance with any question or issue that we might have. Although we've only had it a short time, it seems to work as it should. I took it to the local Kroger pharmacy blood pressure machine and compared readings, they both were within a couple of points of each other. The price, reviews, warranty, performance and the company standing behind their product makes this purchase a no-brainer decision.

Great portable product!

I am a RN and I use this blood pressure monitor in my clinical practice. The item shipped quickly and came as described. I always doubted using a wrist blood pressure monitor over the traditional arm blood pressure monitor due to inaccuracies in the readings, however this product proved me wrong. Just as long as you follow the directions and apply the cuff correctly, then the readings will be accurate. The product is fast and accurate and very portable to carry around on the unit while working. I am very happy with the product and got it at a very affordable price.

Ozeri CardioTech Wrist Bloood Pressure Monitor

I've used wrist BP monitors before, but this one is particularly easy-to-use and accurate. I read the reviews by some people who find it horribly inaccurate, but I disagree completely. I bought it for my mother, whose doctor wanted her to monitor her BP on a daily basis, and it's not only consistent from day-to-day, but it's in the same ballpark as her doctor's measurements. I'm also a physician, and I don't expect an automatic wrist monitor to be as accurate as a state-of-the-art sphygmomanometer with the highest quality stethoscope... but the Ozeri is quite consistent and accurate. It's very easy to set up and get started. It fits nicely in a little plastic box that's provided, which protects it from dirt, etc.

The second I step foot into a doctors office my blood pressure goes sky high. I've been monitoring my blood pressure at home for about 3 months to see what my true blood pressure it. The cuff I had been using was an upper arm cuff which was bulky and hard to us. I heard about a wrist monitor and decided to give it a try. First, I was pleased with the price. Once I received the Ozeri, I was pleased with the size of it and the carrying case it came with. Now to try it out....very easy to use. Lastly, I took it into my doctors office to see if it was giving accurate readings. Sure enough it was! I am very pleased all around with the Ozeri!!!

This is my first foray in wrist digital blood pressure monitors, it seems to be doing it's job, since this is my first attempt at gauging my blood pressure, I do it on right and left wrist and the numbers are similar I average both numbers and input that numbers in weekly records. Take the 10 breaths to relax and I elevate my arm so it's at the same level of my heart, and seems to accurate. Try to relax and I wish I could give you more information, but compared to the other reviews on similar wrists monitor this one by far seems to be a good value and if you follow the directions you should be able to receive pretty accurate readings. As you know wrist monitors are not as accurate as arm cuffs, so just be aware of that fact, but so far I am happy with my purchase.

Nice quality wrist cuff

I am an RN and have all the tools to check my BP at home, but obviously that can be a hassle (to do one handed). I bought this to occasionally check my pressure and also to use for the family. I've found it to be fast, accurate and a quality product. Do read the directions so you know how to place the cuff and where to place your arm. There is a picture on the side that shows you how to place the cuff and to keep your wrist at the level of your heart. Batteries are included, I can't really say how long they last, I guess that will vary with your use. This comes with a decent blue plastic case, and the whole thing is a little larger than a Rubik's cube. I also have to sympathize with another reviewer- my BP tends to elevate when I'm in a clinical setting, so I've always tracked my BP at home.

I purchased this for the ease of putting it on and taking it off. However, the reading was all over the place. So I decided to try a different kind, one that might be more of a hassle to put on, but might give a better reading. After reading some more reviews, I purchsed the Panasonic EW3109w. After trying it several times both me and my partner got the same reading with a very small varriation. We really like the Panasonic.

As always, my purchase from Amazon was painless and arrived quickly. My wife has been struggling with an arm unit that was bulky and took a long time to set up and get a reading. It was too big to carry in her purse, and she has to check her BP often. This unit worked right out of the box - - is small and easy to use - - and comes with a small case that fits in her purse. I picked this one out due to the reviews and it is perfect for her.
