Hefty little blender with ergonomic grip.

This is a hefty, ergonomic little blender. I would imagine the motor and the mechanics of it will go out before the body gives way. My only gripe is the connecting and disconnecting of the attachments. It's not very fluid and requires quite a bit of force, allowing for the potential of bending them. There is an instruction in the manual of how to do this, which should be heeded. I like this much better than the plastic ones. The hefty, well-formed handle makes this tool.

I believe this frother has potential if it worked properly. I felt something was wrong with mine so I consulted some online review videos to see other units in real operation. Sure enough mine does not behave the same way. When I switch my unit on it begins spinning the attachment in an oscillating manner with significant vibration in the handle. I am not sure oscillation is the right term but it is as if the motor/shaft is unbalanced and needs a counterweight like the wheel on your car. The videos I looked at all showed a very smooth spinning action with perfect rotation.

I am returning and seeking a replacement and feel fairly confident this will resolve my issue. I will update in a couple weeks.

UPDATE 1/12/17-The vendor has also reached out to me via email regarding my original issue. In the meantime I received the replacement and initially it did the same thing, wobble on startup. Well I was pretty disappointed until I found out the batteries that shipped with the product were not strong enough. They measure good on a cheap battery checker but I decided to put some brand name batteries in and the unit is working fine now. So in my case mixing protein shakes there is a fine operation line between a battery at let's say 85% and one at 100%. Now it's a wait and see to figure out how long a name brand set of new batteries last mixing these lumpy shakes.

UPDATE 2/16/17-Unit stopped working today. It would no longer turn on. Confirmed batteries ok. Switch assembly was malfunctioning. After further root cause I determined that the electrical tabs of the switch assembly were no longer making contact with the batteries. There was apparently a minute gap now between the battery terminals and the switch contacts. Every once and awhile I could get it to spin by applying increased pressure to the switch assembly while turning it on. I then gently pried up on the switch's plus terminal with a jeweler's flat blade screwdriver creating a very slight raised bend and tried that. No go still not working. So I then removed the tiny mounting screw and did the same to the negative side and reassembled. Success. It now works again. These were the exact same batteries before and after so not a battery issue. Unit continues to go into oscillation (wobble) mode if the batteries are not absolutely brand new. So to mix protein shakes there has to be a perfectly fresh set of batteries or the unit will oscillate in the liquid and not efficiently mix the protein. Downgraded a star due to failure that some may not feel comfortable trying to fix thus a worthless kitchen tool at that point.

Very powerful! Be careful when you first use it as your coffee or beverage will go flying out of your mug if it's too full. I end up having to fill my coffee mug halfway, then use the whisk attachment with my mix-ins, then top off the cup with more coffee. You will literally need about an inch at the top of the mug for it not to overflow when you use this little wizard. It actually works better once the battery dies down a little and is slightly less powerful.
The whisk attachment fit so snuggly (a good thing, so it doesn't just fall out when using), but requires herculean strength as well as a rubber grip to remove it from the handle for cleaning. Turns out, after using it daily, the whisk attachment broke off inside handle after only 5 weeks of use. I had to use a tiny screw driver to remove the bit that got stuck up in there. Thankfully, this package comes with 2 whisk attachments, so I was able to continue using the item without interruption. Unfortunately, I don't see that the company offers replacement attachments that you can order separately. That said, I don't think I should have to pay for a replacement after only 5 weeks of use.
Why did I give this 4 stars even with all the above issues? Because it's a great little machine with multiple uses and I love the stand. It's so nice to set it up in the stand so it doesn't have to touch the countertop and make a mess after use and before cleaning.
If someone knows how I can get a replacement whisk attachment, please let me know.

We have only had this frother for a short time but just had to write a review on this one as we love, love, love this frother! I have only had one other milk frother so can only compare it to that one but I don't think I would ever even try another brand after using this Ozeri Milk Frother! Our old frother broke and was hard to use and hard to clean but this one is amazing! My daughters and I use it daily (still on the first set of batteries) and are having so much fun.

It is amazing how you can take your everyday cup of coffee to a new level with just frothed milk and/or a new spice or sweetener. Makes you break out your best mugs, makes you want to take a moment to sit in your favorite spot, and read, chat, or just relax for a bit and enjoy. It makes you feel special and at half the price of having a coffee out!

ALSO...we drink a powdered green drink every morning and have a love/hate relationship with it. It is hard to get it all dissoved unless you take the time to put it into a blender or shake it in a jar for 5 minutes. If you don't, you are drinking away and all of a sudden you get this lump of undissolved powder...yuck. Now...NO MORE...undissolved powder or having to take time to clean my blender. It blends the powder perfectly and just needs a quick rinse to clean the frother. For this reason alone I would recommend it!

I haven't used the other attachments yet so can't comment on them. The only thing I wish it had was a bit stronger stand to hold the frother. It is okay, but can easily tip if you aren't careful yet this is not enough of a "negative" to lower the 5 star rating.
Oh...and it froths coconut milk as well as milk or half~n~half.
Summing it up, it is a great little inexpensive luxury item we bought but has now become a necessary item we wouldn't be without!

First off, small mixers like this one are great for stirring up your favorite energy or cocoa drink. No more clinking the side of the glass while everyone else in the house is trying to sleep. FIne powders dissolve quickly and no splashing!
The Ozeri Delux is one of two I tried, the other was only 9$ and worked pretty well also, at least after I glued the stirring attachment permanently to the motor shaft .
The Ozeri attachments so far, fit tight, but the end came off my favorite one. It is the little propellor attachment, which really gets the liquids swirling to the bottom of the glass. That I fixed with some crazy glue. Other attachments have a long plastic piece that mates to the motor part and seem more stable and oscillate less because of flex in the shaft. Also, I'm not comfortable with the on/off speed switch on the top. While gripping the motor part it's hard to get a finger over the switch to turn it off without pulling it out of the medium and splashing liquids everywhere, but how much is valid critism when I only paid for ~25$. Not much really, and it is one of two frothers I found with a propeller style attachment. In summary I'd buy it, but keep the crasy glue handy.

Another great product from Ozeri! This is great for mixing protein shakes, hot chocolate, or other powdered drink mixes. It also does a reasonable job of scrambled eggs but I usually don't bother for eggs. Note that this is a mixer, not a blender! It will not puree fruit or make a smoothie. Get a real blender for that.
It will whip a small amount of whipping cream but its forte is just mixing. Takes 2 double A batteries, and they seem to last a decent length of time.
