Now the above is what makes it a 2-star product, why I gave it a 1-star review is the highly suspect marketing practice. As I mentioned, the product had 21 reviews at the time. When looking at those reviews:
10 of them were from users that had only reviewed this product or this and just 1 other product
9 had reviewed from 1-18(!) other Ozeri products
2 looked legit though one of those only had 4 and 5 star reviews
My wife and I buy nearly everything from Amazon and depend greatly on these reviews so anything that undermines their reliability is a huge risk to Amazon and I hope they look into Ozeri products.
While we "loved it" while it worked, we have to "hate" now for quitting on us after only 4 mos. of relatively light use - there are only two us. Perhaps Amazon &/or Ozeri Kitchen know of some sort of warranty on it.
The peppermill itself is visually appealing, the black matte looks nice, and provides a non-slip grip. It's easy to know how many peppercorns are left from the see through chamber. There are three different grind levels, so it caters to multiple preferences of coarseness. It's worked very well for us, it has not jammed up or given us any other issues so far.
The only thing I'm not really into about this grinder is that it takes so many AAA batteries. I did not have six around, so I had to pick some up. Not a huge deal, but it would be nice if it was just a few AA or something, since most people are more likely to have them on hand. I definitely recommend this device to others, as I have had no problems with it, and I think it could be very helpful to people who only have the use of one hand, or other hand disabilities. I received this free product for my honest review, but my opinions are my own and unbiased, not influenced in any way by receiving a discount. I welcome both positive and negative feedback!
First of all, let me say this. I could not by any means open this peppermill at all. I spent the better part of two mornings trying to twist, turn, pull, push, jerk the bottom as instructed in the User’s Manual to put in the batteries. I absolutely could not. When my son in law (a Marine) came in, he got it opened for me and installed the batteries. He also poured in the peppercorns for me and closed the unit.
So I pushed the button on the top of the peppermill and ground a little of the peppercorns on the first setting, leaving it on a piece of paper so I could compare the grinds. When I went to change the setting by trying to move the silver “button” grind adjuster, I could not. Once again, I pushed and I pulled, and all I ended up with was a sore thumb and fingers. My hand hurt from trying to move that button to the section grind selection. It proved impossible for me. Once again, my son-in-law came to the rescue, but only after quite a bit of effort on his part too. His statement was, “That’s one a booger, mom.” Booger, indeed. Anyway, I ground some more peppercorns on the second setting, and then he battled with the grind adjuster button again and got it up to the third setting. I ground the peppercorns again, and now had three piles of pepper to compare the grinds.
Four of us in the house looked carefully at the different grinds. Not one of us could tell the difference of the grinds at all.Read more ›

It worked for awhile, light usage for 2 years, then it just stopped. New batteries, nothing. Buy a hand powered unit and have something that works when you need it.Published 8 days ago by miguel
I've ordered two of these over a couple of years, both times the motor froze. Did the usual to fix, new batteries, rotated drive shaft, etc, all to no avail.
I have owned one of these for a few years now and it still works fine. I really like the adjustable grind. Read morePublished 1 month ago by Watchman
it won't stop. And then it stopped working. I only used this occasionally. So it is probably too late to return this. I would not buy this. Read morePublished 1 month ago by Amazon Customer
I was offered this electric pepper mill for free to exchange for an unbiased review. The unit takes 4 AAA batteries to operate. Read morePublished 1 month ago by Wei Zhao

I prefer the Ozeri Graviti pepper mill to the Savore even though it requires turning a knob to adjust the grind. Read morePublished 1 month ago by zhabazon
