This is a follow up to my earlier review where I had rated this product 1 Star. After, reviewing my attributes you all must be wondering how and why have I given 5 stars overall when none of the product (KANDLE) attributes caught my attention ? I am stickler for quality and finish. I am also proud to say that I am amongst very-very few and extinct species in the US who has seldom shopped at Walmart (once) or any of those cheap thrill super-stores that pile ceiling high goods that are MADE in CHINA. Even my shopping here on AMAZON has been restricted only to Books (surely not written or made in CHINA). Kindle was my first ever electronic purchase on this site and honestly, I felt miserable knowing that, I was buying product made in a country (CHINA) where workers are treated worse than animals and have no access to basic sanitation or even minimal of health benefits. I have first hand experience of the general plight and pathos of working public in China, thanks to my extensive travels of that country.
People in the US for their own hedonistic necessities, consume everything that comes out of CHINA and then belch and burp about the lack of civil infrastructure, liberty and freedom in that society. How very hypocritical of us all? We support that very system through sustained trade and then absolve ourselves from the miseries inflicted upon Chinese masses caused by our insatiable consumptions of products made in their sweat shop.
Anyways back to KANDLE. As for all products that are made in CHINA this cheap looking piece of dirt arrived on my table 24 hours ago and the moment I unpacked it, I realized something was amiss. The clip looked like it would giveaway in less then a week and the light was insufficient to illuminate the bottom half of my Kindle. I immediately, wrote a review here on AMAZON wherein I gave KANDLE 1 star. Pronto, I receive an email from the vendor of KANDLE, OZERI inquiring about my negative feed-back. I give them a detailed elaboration about my concerns with the product, its finish and performance. They find my concerns very studied and genuine and immediately organize to refund my amount back all this happens in less then 24 hours.
I am truly amazed by their promptness and superlative customer support. Hats-off to Ozeri their expicable behavior has blunted my calculated offense against products made in CHINA. They make buying inferior Chinese goods pleasurable.
But, alas! I wish Ozeri sold GM and Ford products as well.
So, readers please don't be misled by 5 ***** on my review, they are for OZERI's superior customer support and after sales service and not for the product KANDLE by itself.

The perfect book light
This light is awesome!! A lot of the book lights out there have the long twisty arm which makes them awkward and heavy, and the LEDs are always too bright. This one is compact, lightweight, and gives you the perfect amount of light! The light itself is a bright white, so I covered it with an orange sticky note to make it softer on my eyes at night. It fits easily in my bag when I’m traveling and sits snug on my tablet so I know it won’t fall off. Another thing I love is that the clip doesn’t cover up any of the book text because of it’s horizontal design.
