I've been needing a kitchen scale to help with tracking my diet but I don't have a lot of counter space in my kitchen and all the fancy ones were too big. I decided to go with this one and crossed my fingers that it wouldn't be too complicated to tare containers I already have. WOW! It literally could not be easier. You just put the container on the scale before you turn it on and VOILA! tare! I can just measure food directly into the bowl that is going into the microwave and avoid dirtying something else.
I can't really speak to accuracy because I don't have anything to compare it against but nothing so far has seemed obviously off.
