To prep my car before using Color Chip Road Rash repair kit, I washed the car and then rubbed it down with P21S to strip the wax. I used my paint repair kit (which works great by the way), waited a week for the paint to cure and then decided to use P21S again to get a nice clean surface before using my new 3oz. can of grossly overpriced BACKFIRE BlackIce wax. I am absolutely amazed by the glass-like finish that the P21S produced; it removed every particle of dirt/grit from my paint/wax and provided the surface necessary for a flawless waxing and shine.
If I hadn't bought it to prep for my paint project, I'd never would have bought it. But now...I will use this once a year to strip the grime from my wax/surface to get back to the base and put new wax on a clean surface.
UPDATE 3/17: I used this again for a 2006 dark blue CRV I bought my son, great shape but paint needed a refresh. I read this is NOT for machine application, but I used my Meguiar's G3500 to apply it anyway and it worked fine. If you choose to apply with a machine, just don't presss too hard or linger in one spot and you'll be fine. Do either and you could end up with some significant swirling in the paint, but this stuff is very gentle and I had no problems even with the dark paint.
PROS: Cheap, very easy to use, and most importantly, highly effective at removing grime and wax buildup.
CONS: None that I'm aware of.
