These work extremely well with one exception.. You must...
Bend the tips just a little to offset the spring action which causes the top to want to slide off. Just a very tiny bit of bending and it is perfect. It taks up so little space on the printer that it has no effects on the full size prints.

So, I have been recommending this clips to others on my youtube channel, reddit, and fb groups. Therefore, it is time to finally write a review of them.

Here is the review: Perfect and the only clips to go with! They take up so little space and are easy to put on and take off. Great design.

I had the other clips that were larger and took up more space on the bed. I needed to use my entire glass bed for a print and the other clips were in the way. I had seen these as a recommendation when I was looking at another item, so I took a chance. These were perfect. They take up so little space on the glass bed and allow me to print where I want to. Additionally, they are not difficult to put on, I can move them where I want them and take them off easily when I need to clean the bed. I can't recommend these enough if you are looking at bed clips for your printer.

i switched to these from the big metal paper clips, and couldn't be happier. more clearance on the print bed, and they are easy to install and remove

Great and low profile. Saw a recommendation to wrap the prongs in duct tape or heat resistant tape to prevent scratching of the plate's underside and it works great! Best clamp with the lowest profile I've seen!

These things work well, but when they accidentally get popped off, oh man do they go flying. For a while I did this every print as I scraped my table to get small parts loose. You may think you don't need 10. You do, because you'll probably lose three right away. Thats really the only issue. Good luck. ;) lol

Necessary if your bed relies on a metal sheet that can stick to a magnet. These are small enough to allow for full print size, and sturdy enough to hold the bed in place.
  • Reviewed in the United States on April 29, 2021
    The Good:
-Easier to install and remove than the standard clips. Not as easy as the typical butterfly clips.
-Holds the plate securely enough to complete printing. After printing is an issue though.
-Company size doesn’t reduce plate area.

    The Bad:
-Pops off quicker than a wanna be thug. Since they are easier to remove, too much pressure will send these little runts flying while trying to remove your print off the plate. I’ve lost 2 already. A real bugger when it’s the clips in the rear that go cascading off the wall and into the abyss behind the table.
-The compact size means you have to touch the (hot) plate to install/remove them. Butterfly paper clips not as much.
-Butterfly clips work just as well and are more readily available.

When I moved from the stock magnetic bed to a glass bed everyone told me to use binder clips to hold the bed down. For some of my larger prints the head would bump into the clips or knock them off. These clips hold the glass bed firmly in place and are so low profile that I never worry, or even think about, if the head might hit one. I am using two per side (8 total) on my Ender 5 Pro and I am very glad I went with these.

Works great to hold the variety of bed types I use and doesn’t take up as much of the bed printing area as binder clips do. The only downside is when using them near the heater connections, make sure you have kapton tape or some protection over the solder joints so you don’t short it.
