Yeah, it smells a bit when you take it out and it's obviously not a heavy duty bag, but it IS long, the nylon does seem tough and it's very lightweight. The ends have some sort of a thin plastic type sheet on both sides so the tops of your light stands don't tear the fabric.

I needed this to carry a few light stands, one of which happens to be a reflector holder stand so has a boom arm and is generally very long and won't fit anywhere. This bag fits it (with some wiggling) perfectly as well as a couple more stands. The fact that it weighs practically nothing, is great too.

For the price, I think it's well done. As others have pointed out, there are no rivets, but it's not designed to carry C-stands or very heavy tripods. The handles should last. I wish it had a shoulder strap but that can be added with some simple DIY.

As a wedding photographer I needed a way to transport my light stands and modifiers. My light stands only condense down to 48" so I needed a longer bag, most bags only went to like 32" or 36". This bag holds my two large stands, plus 2 small light stands (only about 16" tall total. I also fit 2 collapsible softbox umbrellas and 1 other large umbrella. The bag is as full as it can get. It would be great if its was just a bit bigger but o well.

The one thing its missing is a shoulder strap or at least a place to attach my own. This was nothing new as I read it in several other reviews. I did not think it would be that big of a deal but man I wish it had those.

No kidding! When you see just how handy this size, large equipment bag is for carrying all kinds of things, you'll wish you had bought more than one of them!

I purchased this for a very large, Bogen 3050 studio tripod and it is just the perfect size for that purpose.

But, my wife's metal detector is of a similar size so, she appropriated it for that purpose!

I also need one for my background and light stands, etc., etc.

These are well designed and would have gotten my 5-star rating but for one strange omission ... handles only with no shoulder strap or D-rings to attach one to either end?

I'm not sure why they left this out? It would have been quite simple to do? Just add a D-ring at either end and let the customer use there own shoulder strap. A missed opportunity, I guess?

Holds 2 boom light stands just right

Bought this to hold my two Impact Multiboom Light Stand and Reflector Holder - 13' (4m) that, collapsed, are each 41" long. The case is very square (as shown in the picture) with the zipper along the top and extending over both ends. This allows the case to open broadly for gear insertion.

Inside at both ends are some reinforcement panels that will stop pointy ends of stands from wearing through. Carrying handles can be Velcroed together for transport, but shoulder strap is not available and cannot be added.

Bag is not padded at all. Material is heavy duty single layer of polyester.

My two 41" stands just fit inside and as they are pretty bulky with knobs and legs and locking arms, pretty well fill the case. But they fit snugly and safely, as if custom fit.

Very pleased and price is right.

Very good product for price and what it is. I have 4 - 7ft PBL light stands along with 4- sand bags that I carry in here. All of my PBL stands are in separate carrying cases also ( I keep them in there for added protection) so you could probably fit more in this bag. Great for keeping my stands together when I'm bringing my portable studio to a location or a client.

A few things I would improve: Add D rings on the ends, along with a shoulder strap. Also, would be nice to have some type of dividers....but again..this was very inexpensive ( I paid around $19)...and those extra features would add cost. you are getting a long and thin duffle bag, as long as you understand that going in, you will not be disappointed.

Carrying Bag for Studio Light Kit

The bag is specifically designed for the PBL Photo Video Light Stands. Appears to be a quality bag that holds both light stands, but little else. Bought extra bulbs at the same time to be prepared if one should fail and not able to include any of the bulbs. Realize that a second bag to carry the second light stand probably would have resolved this issue, but chose to keep it to one bag. This was one of the down sides. The other is that it would have been nice to have a shoulder strap. Now looking for a small bag to carry the bulbs in attempt to keep it simple for transporting to site locations. Looking forward to see how well it lasts over time.

Great bag for the money!

This is a great bag for the price point. I have this bag with two light stands, and they're a bit of a tight fit, but they work. The build quality is good, with a heavy duty fabric and the handles don't feel flimsy. The only disappointments that I have with this bag is that there isn't a strap, it only has the two handles, and the velcro strap to keep them together isn't stitched onto the handle so it could get lost. The other disappointment is that there's no tab to hold to zip the bag up, which can make it a little difficult to start zipping.

Sturdy. Holds bottom structure well. Decent material. Just wish I could fit more, considering that it is deceiving in looks (looks like you can fit more in, but the zipping mechanism from the sides actually prohibit some volume use if you have taller light stands), which is why i docked off a star.

For the price? Great purchase.
If you had some more budget? Perhaps look elsewhere, but this is no slouch in a purchase.
Would I buy it again? No, I will look for something with more volume, but this works perfectly fine for now.
