Children ages 4 to 8 can tilt and tap their way through multi-level games that encourage exploration of habitats around the world. Focusing on science, each game lets kids observe, explore and use creature power suits to complete missions and help the Kratt Brothers. As levels are completed, kids earn creature power “selfies,” habitat stickers and “Wow! Facts” that help further their animal science and natural history learning.
Wild Kratts World Adventure is based on the PBS KIDS series WILD KRATTS, produced by the Kratt Brothers Company and 9 Story Media Group, and designed to extend the series’ science curriculum.

They "discovered" this themselves through PBS kids app and they fell in love with wild kratts. I had to get them this app bc the PBS kids app for some reason was always crashing. they love it and play it almost every time they are on the tablet.
My 6-year-old daughter loves animals and Wild Kratts and playing the Wild Kratts games on pbskids.org, so when I saw this app on sale, I decided to try it for her. You can play as a pileated woodpecker, a dolphin, or an orangutan. There are ten levels getting progressively harder for each animal, and as you play, you can earn stickers and learn facts. The dolphin and woodpecker games work fine. My daughter easily figured out how to play them, although it is a bit of a pain to have to calibrate the device every time you play as the dolphin, but it takes only a couple seconds. The problem is with the orangutan game. You are supposed to tilt your device (we are playing on a KindleFire HDX) to swing the ape from tree to tree. When he is at the right distance, he reaches for the tree as it glows white; you can then grab it. However, we are only able to go about a quarter through the first (easy level). No matter how long you swing, the ape NEVER reaches for the tree (if you reach for it, the ape will just fall), so you cannot complete the first level to collect stickers and facts and move on to the next level. My daughter, husband, and I have all tried it, and we all get stuck in the exact same spot every time, so it think it is some sort of programming error. I do not feel this is acceptable in an app that normally costs 3 bucks. However, it this glitch gets fixed, it is easily a 4-star app.
*UPDATE* The sound on this App now works and my son and I can now fully appreciate it. It only has a few different games you can play and while I would like to see more, I do understand that would increase the file size. The games that they do have are fun for my child and vary in difficulty; with none being outstandingly tough.
*My Earlier Review* Seems like a cute app for my son who loves the Kratt Bros. But like another review mentioned, there's no sound. There's no Setting options either so I don't know if there's supposed to be, but it seems kind of silly with no sound. Otherwise it's a fun idea.
My soon loves the Wild Kratts, so naturally he wanted this game. You get the chance to play as a frogfish, lemur, spider monkey, dolphin, orangutan, and woodpecker. You can take creature power selfies and turn into the animals - that was a huge hit with the kids! As usual, the Wild Kratts provide tons of cool facts about the animals and the game play simulates actual animal behaviors. If you choose to be a lemur you can participate in a stink fight. As a woodpecker you will search for bugs by pecking at the trees. I'm not a huge fan of video games for kids, but we all love this one!
I bought this for my son January of 2020. Just this summer June 21 my son kept coming to me saying it wasn't working any more. I uninstalled it and then reinstalled it and it's still crashing the minute you open it. I looked at the reviews and discovered there's a lot of people having this problem. There must be something wrong somewhere because it was working all last year. Maybe needs an update or there's a bug in it?
The app keeps my children amused for a good length of time and I love that its PBS and has an educational aspect to the playing. The only thing I would change about the app is that there was a greater amount of games to play within the app. Other than that great app.
Just downloaded the game. Seems fun, but no sound. Will do a revised review when the sound is fixed. Again, no sound. I sent a complaint to the developers. UPDATE: The developers frixed the sound. Kids really enjoy it now. They really learn a lot from the show. Thumbs Up for such a quick response !
