this PC Chips M863G board didn't quite work at first as there was no on screen video, no beep and no POST. turns out I had to replace the existing AMD processor chip and memory chip with ones that are fully compatible with this board and I had to replace the no-name power supply box with an Enermax 460w kind and now the M863g board works as expected.
in short, the M863g board I bought works well as long as a reliable name-brand PSU (like Enermax, Seasonic, Corsair, PC Power and Cooling, etc.) and compatible CPU/RAM chips are used along with it.
