LICKI is a soft silicone brush you can hold in your mouth to lick your cat -- like a mama cat grooms her kittens. LICKI is designed to feel pleasurable to your cat's sensitive skin, and offers a unique bonding opportunity for human and cat. Now available in Glow-in-the-dark, you can easily return midnight headbutts without turning on the light!
From the Manufacturer
Cats groom each other as a form of social bonding. There's also evidence to suggest that cats view and treat their human captors as large cats. As a human, you're left out of the intimate licking ritual. By using LICKI with your cat on a regular basis, you'll develop a more intimate and bonded relationship, much like a mama cat bonds with her young.
The act of licking your cat with LICKI is an oddly meditative practice, soothing for both you and your cat. Gently grasp LICKI's bite portion with your teeth, slowly approach your cat when she is sleeping or in an otherwise pleasant mood, and ease into the soothing and mutually beneficial licking behavior of cats. Don't be surprised if your cat licks you back.

Bond with your cat by communicating in their language, and watch your relationship deepen.
Grooming is simply more fun with LICKI. Try LICKI on your puppy, rabbit, and other small creatures!
At PDX Pet Design, we create products your pet would design if she could. We believe in the superior nature of our furry friends and strive to offer them thoughtfully designed products that truly enhance their lifestyle while strengthening the human-pet bond.

Lick Your Cat.
How did you come up with the idea for this product?
We spend a lot of time watching the cats in our multi-cat household groom each other. As it turns out, cats groom each other as a form of social bonding. There's also evidence to suggest that cats view and treat their human captors as large cats. As a human, you're left out of the intimate licking ritual and we wanted to change that. We designed LICKI brush to bring cats and their humans closer.

What has been the best part of your startup experience?
The best part of running a pet startup is the love we receive from pet-lovers around the globe. When our customers send us stories, photos, and videos of their fun times licking their kitties, it warms our hearts and makes it worth all of the late nights we've had running our pet startup.

While cats are individualistic and my cat hating the brush doesn't guarantee yours will, I suspect that the issue is that the "teeth" of the brush are too firm and pointy (The Kong is similarly firm but not pointy, and the other competing pointy product, the [Soft Silicone Pins] CELEMOON Ultra-Soft Silicone Washable Cat Grooming Shedding Massage / Bath Brush - Safe & No Scratching any more - Purple (which I recommend instead) is much softer.)
-The concept is worth a few chuckles, so it may be okay as a gag gift
-It does groom a cat decently (especially when used by hand and not in your mouth)
-it might make an okay teething toy for your cat... (see picture)
-it is a neat concept
-My cat hates it.
-"licking" action is rather awkward
