Made in USA by PEC Tools. Blades are fully hardened and tempered. Finish of heads is baked enamel. Micro-fine graduation. Square head has level and Scriber point. These squares and combination sets meet Fed. Specs. Type VI Class A. Easy to read satin chrome finish Blades. Double indexed protractor is graduated 180 degrees in both directions. 4R: Graduations are 8th, 16th, 32nds and 64ths.

My only complaint is that the compass does not rotate without sticking. It is not a deal breaker since I dont use the compass that often. Note that it still slides smoothly along the rule...the issue is rotation of the compass. That said, It is very accurate and the graduated markings make it easy to see your exact position. It may also be worth noting that it uses a standard rule which was nice because I was able to attach the compass to a separate rule and use the square and the compass at the same time.
The corner attachment:
I have not yet had the need to use the corner attachment but it also slid on smoothly and locks down with zero play. I anticipate that it would be far more accurate than using a standard tape measure, event with the corner brackets they sell that allow you to attach your tape to them to measure diagonals.
