5.0 out of 5 stars Great Ideas for Coaches and Leaders
By RICHARD CITRIN on April 13, 2022
I was very excited to read Peer Revolution and I was not disappointed. Christy provides a step by step guide for coaches and leaders in her peer coaching model that will help anyone who coaches people in the workplace...and who doesn't?
I didn't agree with everything she says, for example, her discussion of therapy vs coaching suggests that therapy looks back while coaching looks forward is not exactly accurate from my experience as both a psychologist and coach. The power of Christy's work is based on helping people discover more about who they are as people and professionals and how their history shapes them. I like to think that her work is not therapy but given the wonderful stories people share in the book, I would say that her work is therapeutic for folks.
Congratulations, Christy, and thanks for sharing your work in such a cogent and well-written book!
