Wasn't sure what to expect with this. Honestly way better than I thought. I currently have the HyperX Quadcast, which has an internal pop filter. The internal pop filter isn't that great though at rejecting plosives.

I decided to try this out since, hey it's only 10 bucks. This actually worked wonders. The sound quality even sounds better. My guess is because it's rejecting plosives even better now. Just make sure it fits on the mic you have and you should be all set. The only negative, which isn't that bad, is that it feels cheap. So just becareful when placing it on the mic. It comes with 2 extra rubber bands just in case you break one of them while placing it on the mic. Otherwise I think it's a great addition to the mic.

Works wonderfully despite the fact that it's not suppose to fit the Blue Yeti Pro. If you look at my pictures, you'll see that it comes with three bands that you can use to make it fit. Took no more than a two minutes to get it on the mic. It'll look a bit weird due to the mic size but it will work and fit so kudos!

It's a good product. Nothing fancy, but what do you expect for $8 delivered. Didn't make as much of a difference as I would have liked in mitigating plosives. That said, I'm sure it's a tradeoff between blocking breath noise and blocking voice noise.

Nicely, it came with two replacement rubber straps. Always nice to see little touches like that in products.

Works fine, I’d give it 5 if it didn’t seem so fragile, but as long as you don’t go nuts with it, I doubt it’ll break very easily. It does as much as you can expect a screen to do when it comes to actually filtering out plosives, which is not much. Pop filters and wind screens lessen plosives getting into the mic, but do not prevent them entirely. Pop filters were originally built for old ribbon microphones, the ribbon inside of those mics were very fragile, so they put filters to keep out extreme bursts of air and spit from getting to the ribbon, which helped it last much longer, plosives getting lessened was just a bonus. These days, filters like this are mostly just used by audio engineers to keep their talent from getting too close to the mic, and to LOOK professional. To actually avoid plosives, just direct your speaking/singing slightly off axis to your microphone instead of directly towards it. Sounds the same, but less air gets in.

That being said, the product does as much as you can expect, and is a decent price.

An acquaintance of mine recommended this style pop filter to me, as we both do professional voice-over work.
This style of pop-filter is so much more convenient for narration work because it never block my view of my monitor or script.
It it best suited for side-address large diaphragm microphones and seems to do it's job well.
I'm not sure how it would work on a front-address mic, like a dynamic mic, but for side-address, it works well on plosives.

Love this thing, bit of a pain to get onto my Rode NT1, because the bands tend to love to roll off their hooks. Once it is on though, god it works amazing. Though it's not a perfect solution by any means I would say it reduces plooms by about 40%. Using it with the metal mesh Rode NT1 pop filter along with my normal fabric one I can scream "I Bought a baker dozen puffed pastry doughnuts and they got blown out the passenger window" (My mic gain/comp/peak test phrase) and 99% reduction. So it definitely brought my vocals to an insane degree.

Full disclosure: Not any sort of professional at all, just a gamer who wanted a nice mic and a pop filter to both protect and fit nicely on the mic.

I absolutely love this design and in my opinion its way better than the other type. This is always a consistent distance from the mic, is unobtrusive, and just looks nicer than the other one I linked above (in my opinion).

Their disclaimer is super important, out of the box this won't correctly fit on a Blue Yeti. Sure, you could make it work since they do give you an extra little bands, but the plastic enclosure inside sits a bit too tightly for my taste.

What I ended up doing was using my heat gun to slightly melt the interior plastic strut and bent it slightly more open so it would fit nicely on the mic. The plastic piece doesn't actually lay right on top of the filter portion, probably about an inch away so I didn't damage the filter itself, but honestly I was sweating a bit to make sure I didn't damage this and waste my money.

This ended up working well for me, but considering the fact that I was able to physically reshape the product (since no one appears to make this for a Blue Yeti) I was paradoxically a bit disappointed in the quality of the material used which allowed me to do so.

I'm also concerned that the small bands which are supposed to hold this in place will loosen over time and it won't stay on without either having those replaced or buying something else. To be honest, I don't really hear a big difference in the sound quality, just barely, but maybe someone with better hearing can tell it makes a big difference.

Bought this to my Blue Yeticaster, I was rather scpetical if it would fit. In the package there are two sets of rubber bands, I changed to the more flexible ones and carefully slided the filter on the plastic holders inside may bend so be careful not to brake them.

It's a really snug fit, but I am happy with it. Looks better than the round filters with separate arms IMHO. Work ok as well. Good product and well worth the purchase.
