They are a direct fit on my 2000 GMC Yukon XL SLT (NOT Denali trim).
The only problem I had installing these headlights, is like most aftermarket headlights, the plastic frame that connects to the truck is made of a more flexible plastic than the OE headlights. The driver side headlight went in without trouble, but the passenger side took a little bit of coaxing with the metal fastener that hold the lights to the truck.
These lights are branded Perde by TYC.
The low beams have a nice and sharp cutoff because of the projectors, and the light smoke is hardly noticeable.
I put a cheap set of HIDs in the low beams, and it didn't mess with the cut off, so you won't be causing a bunch of glare to oncoming traffic.
I also found that these lights will take 9011 HIR bulbs without modification (you could put them in both the highs and the lows and get better light out of them).
