I bought this straightener to use while traveling. It's so tiny and cute! I'm really happy with how small and light it is, as I try to just use a carry on backpack when we go away for short trips. Compared to my Chi straightener, it doesn't work as well because it doesn't get near as hot. It still gets the job done, but it took longer because I had to go over my hair a few times, and more slowly than I typically would. However, the low heat will cause less damage and would be good to use on delicate hair (like a child's). Overall, I'm happy and will continue to use it!

Just love this mini flat iron. I have coarse wavy hair and have to use the flat iron every morning. My hair generally responds well but I have to use lots of hairspray to keep it that way all day. I hate using hairspray, but I live in Jersey and you can’t fight the humidity and wind. My new little PHOEBE works great, fits in my purse and I can use it throughout the day for touch ups. I no longer use hairspray, nor do I worry about how the commute to work will destroy my hair. I’m more relaxed knowing my little PHOEBE is right in my purse. Price was very reasonable and it arrived super quick! Happy camper here. : )

The only complaint I have with the flat iron is that the clip that holds the iron closed when not in use will engage if tipped in a downward position while you're using it. I quickly learned not tip it in that direction so it wouldn't clip shut, but it's annoying and a better clip should be installed; one that snaps into place rather than a loose slide. Otherwise, I love the size for my short hair, and it will be great to travel with!

I bought this to have available in our travel trailer. I researched quite a few units and selected this one, still not expecting a lot or the size and price, but was pleasantly surprised. It heats up well works very nicely. I have fine hair in a bob style just above my shoulders and it takes minimal time to curve the ends under and touch up flyaways. What surprised me, however, was when our 18-year-old granddaughter joined us for a camping trip and loved it for straightening her thicker, color-treated hair.

I bought this for my husband, since he is growing his hair out and has very curly hair. It works great, has an on and off switch so its pretty simple. I dont know if I would use it myself because of the nonadjustable temperature but its a great product for someone with short hair or if you have stubborn small portions of your head you need to get straightened.

I even thought about returning it when I saw how small it was because there was no way it would work on my thick hair. Boy was I wrong and glad I tried it out ahead of my trip before going through with returning it. It heated up quickly and works just as well on my medium length thick hair as my more expensive ($100+) full-size flat iron! I can't wait to bring this on all my trips, near or far, and be able to style my hair just as I would at home. A definite must-have for travel.

Coming from a hairstylist this is the perfect flat iron for bangs! It heats up quickly and the perfect size. Also would be perfect for pixie cuts or shorter hair. I would not recommend this to use on medium or long hair, it would take you a lonnnng time to straighten that much hair. Absolutely perfect for bangs! Yay!
