This set works a LOT better than the 'push the end to separate' type. I had 2 sets of those and one of them always stop separating within about 6 months. These are a little more difficult to get apart, 2 hands vs 1, but will, hopefully, continue to work longer. NOTE: remember to put the 'sharp end' on the vehicle side. That way you don't put that sharp little 'glass breaker point' in your pocket. I have always used these when I drop of my vehicles to get oil changed, so I don't leave my house/work/etc.. keys with others. Just a safety thing

It's realy tiny key rings are smaller than a dime very disappointed the center is less than a inch. Famous amazon move. Have to check dimensions on every thing my fault a guess for not looking at dimensions. I would think that key rings would all be a average size but I guess not .

We live in a rural area.
Our mailbox is a mile away. If you think that is far, our closest grocery store is 17 miles away. Yes, it's a fair trade because we live on a quiet lake on lots of land.
I drive to our mailbox more often than not. The mailbox key is on my truck keychain. Until I received this gizmo, I had to turn off my truck to get the mail. Don't roll your eyes; I am not complaining!
I am an efficiency expert, and under close scrutiny of my mail-collecting process, I waste about 4.4 seconds removing my keys from my ignition, then replacing them, and then cranking the starter to get the truck back up. I also save (at 780 RPMs of idle,) about .7 cc of fuel with the engine turned off.
At that rate, I'll have this paid off in 13 months, 2 weeks, and 1 day, and save just a little over 30 minutes of wasted time!
Get this if you need convenience, and want to save a little time and money!
