Love that it is 6 pieces and fits in a backpack. I also like that it has a lightweight foam Handel and not cork. The design is good and it has flex and backbone expected of a medium rod, even though it’s a 6 piece. Only downside is the top two guides are small and won’t let a bobber stop through which could be an issue if your fishing a slip rig. Overall a good rod if you need to store it somewhere on the go.

This rod feels great in my hands with a very smooth reel and actually looks very stylish to boot. It comes in a tiny travel bag and I was astonished by the length and end result of this rod. Each individual piece feels very sturdy and attaches far enough into the connecting pieces that makes them feel very secure; so I am not afraid of this rod breaking with any of the fish I am aiming for. The fact that this rod is so easilly assembled, comes with a little storage bag, and comes with its own reel is an absolute steal for the price of this rod.

Was not expecting a 6PC travel rod to have this much backbone. I would consider this rod a med to med/heavy power and moderate fast action. This is a good all around rod combo for med to large freshwater fishing. My son and I used it the other day and caught more than a dozen 8lb+ channel cats a few big sheepshead and 2 very big carp on it. Both the rod and reel preformed admirable. The 6pc rod breaks down to a very compact size, perfect for throwing in a backpack or large tackle bag. The reel operates smooth, hold a good amount of line (about 200yrds of 12lb mono in my case). Drag worked well, easy to adjust and smooth. It's a cool looking rod, reel left a little to be desired in the looks dept, but functioned very well.

This is a great fishing pole for traveling. It's light weight and easy to carry in a backpack or something else while you hike to the perfect fishing destination. It casts real smooth. And it doesn't cost too much for a good rod and reel. I recommend this one for sure!

I travel a lot and always have issue with telescopic rods. This one comes apart and is stored easily and safely. It is also super light. I like the grip. I use it for saltwater fishing so I hope the reel will last. Although, I used it for a few weeks now and it performs well.

Upon opening the fishing/reel combo I immediately noticed the high quality materials used to construct the gear. The rod is lightweight but very sturdy and easy to assemble. The reel is quiet and smooth. For something in this low price range, I was quite surprised at the quality. Everything packs away nicely in a compact nylon bag that I can keep in my car, travel trailer or boat. I haven't used it on the water yet, but have done a few test casts and I'm very impressed with it's performance so far. I'm looking forward to using it later this month at the lake. I previously purchased the smaller collapsible rod/reel combos for backpacking and really enjoy using them.

This pole came very neatly packed to start. It comes in a nice sleeve that holds everything together and packs away super tightly. I’ve stored it in the trunk of my car, and it also fits in my backpack when I go hiking. The carbon makes it super light weight, but very strong. The sections fit tightly together and have never slipped or pulled apart unintentionally. I love the split handle foam feel compared to other rods I’ve used. The reel and drag are both very smooth as well. I have yet to catch a fish on it, but I know it will hold up and I’m very excited to! Overall, an amazing purchase for such a low cost,
I would highly recommend this for someone looking at a strong travel rod or pack rod.
