Product Description
Upgrade your PC with PNY DDR3 Memory. Experience improved performance.
Today’s software applications and games make greater demands on your system’s memory. Take full advantage of your software’s productivity enhancements by upgrading your memory and optimizing the efficiency of your desktop PC, with a PNY DDR3 memory upgrade. Let’s take a look at why you may need a memory upgrade, and how you can maximize your PC.
Potential Reasons for Needing More Memory
You’re Getting Your Game On: From the casual gamer needing a simple upgrade or storage solution, to the advanced gamer desiring all the dynamic visual effects of the latest DirectX 10 and DirectX 11 games. With today’s advanced visualizations on many popular PC games you may need to increase the RAM memory on your PC in order to maximize your gaming experience. As the gaming world evolves the more advanced games will put an increased memory demand on your system.
You’re Adding a New Graphics Card: If you are installing a new graphics card in your computer system, you may also need to add additional RAM to your computer. Graphics cards depend heavily on your computer’s main RAM, and if there’s not sufficient memory available the video card is going to have poor performance. To play it safe, your best bet is to reference the manufacturer’s specifications on your new graphics card, and see if you ultimately do need to purchase additional memory.
You Just Upgraded Your Operating System: One common reason for requiring additional computer RAM memory is operating system upgrades. For example, if you just upgraded your operating system you will find that Windows 8th or 7th requires more RAM than previous models. As operating systems become more sophisticated they need more memory to do their job. This will take away from the amount of computer RAM memory that is available to your other computer applications. Whenever you upgrade your operating system, it’s a good time to assess your computer’s RAM memory needs.
You Upgraded Your Business Software: Upgrades of common business software are another factor that can create a need for more RAM memory. Just as with operating systems, business software gets more complex with each new version/update, and invariably it seems like the computer RAM memory needs an increase. If you’re installing new software on your PC, closely look at its memory requirements, and see if you need to upgrade.
General Use Upgrade: If you realize that things are just taking too long to complete, or you can actually hear your computer “churning” while it is working on large tasks, this is a sign that it could benefit from more computer memory, and you should upgrade it as soon as possible to improve your computer’s general performance.

REMEMBER!!! It is best to change out ALL your memory sticks and use ALL OF THE SAME BRAND AND TYPE OF MEMORY IN ALL THE SLOTS otherwise, you may get an incompatability issue OR not much increase in system performance.
Out of all the memory I've purchased over the years I have had one stick fail and PNY replaced it FREE with NO hassle. Thanks, PNY. I would recomend this product to upgrade your HOME OR SMALL OFFICE PC memory.
$40.77 and you get 2 sticks. both 4GB 1333mHz. And the Corsair Vengeance is
$39.99 and you get 2 sticks. both 4GB 1600mHz. i wish the price was that good 2 weeks ago when i bought it.. haha just lookin out for you buyers out there:)
Anyways the memory is great. i use it with my existing 2 sticks of Super Talent 2GB a piece at 1333mHz and the run together very nicely in the M4A87TD EVO motherboard. hope you get the best bang for you buck!
Great ram, great customer service! Newegg definitely has some competition for my money now, I'll consider Amazon.com for my computer parts more often now.
In the past I have used Corsair, Crucial, Mushkin, Geil, Gskill, Kingston, Adata, and Patriot. Crucial, Corsair, and Mushkin had been my preferred memory, but the rest all seemed reliable and with deals like this one here who would pass it up. Reliable brand, good price. Sadly bad RAM happens, but with Crucial, Corsair, and Kingston you have no problems with RMA's or support. I have done more than my fair share in the past, but I've never seen anything like this. This is the kind of support that could be expected from a third tier Walmart Supplier.
Stick with the more reputable companies, it is not worth your time or money to try and deal with something like this.
