Hey Everyone,

I am three days into trying to troubleshooting this GTX560Ti card. The card hangs / crashes the computer while playing COD Black Ops and Homefront. The screen just freezes and the audio loops.

I've tried the drivers that came with the card, the 266.66 and even the beta drivers 270.51 -- the problem is the same... hangs and requires a reboot.

This is my second 560Ti card, I had the same issue with the MSI TwinCoolr card.

There are numerous threads about how to tweak the clocks to get stability, but I don't want to have to downclock my overclocked & expensive video card because I want the performance (advertised).

Specifically on the PNY card. The MSI card ran a lot cooler... this card got up to 82'C when under high load. Within reference parameters, but a little too hot than I am used to. There are a lot of threads on the net saying that hi temp isn't necessarily bad with the new boards , but still seems a little warm for my likes. After it hit 82' the fan kicked up and cooled it below 80 for a while before proceeding to crash.

So to me, a techie, it feels like a driver issue, especially since multiple manufactures of the 560Ti report similar problems (as well as my own experience with both the MSI and the PNY crashing).

So my advice, would be to stay away from this card until NViDIA can make it more stable.

Was on the fence for awhile deciding between the HD 6870 or this card even the HD 6950. Lists showed that this card beat out the 6870 all the time and the 6890 some of the time. Price was a bit less than the 6950, and it was supposed to run cooler and more quiet. Card was smaller by a 1/2 inch over my other card, so no problems with that. Turned the computer on, and was amazed how quite this card was compared to my HD 4890. Installing the latest drivers was a breeze and I was up and running in a few minutes fully. Played a bunch of games like Metro 2033, Crysis, Crysis 2, and Battlefield BC2. Still ran really quiet on all the games and temperature seemed to be pretty cool with no warm air coming out the vent really. Games ran amazing smooth and looked great except for the first Crysis, which could be because my processor is getting slightly dated and that game pretty much puts any set up to it's knees. Crysis 2 ran much smoother than my 4890 and looked great. Same goes for Metro 2033 and Battlefield. Was able to bump those up to max settings with DX11. Now I'm completely set for Battlefield 3 and the Witcher 2 coming up shortly. Was an awesome purchase and this card should last awhile.

this card is great. the card alone may not give you the absolute best detail and performance for some of the newer games (like battlefield 3), but if thats what you want, you'll have to spend more and get a 570, 580, or 590. i mainly got this to beef up my computer for skyrim, and i can play that game on ultra detail even with texture enhancing mods. no complaints at all

I purchased this card as an upgrade from my Nvidia 9800GT. The GT was an EVGA card, and though I had owned a PNY card in the past that had performed well, I still was a bit wary because the overwhelming majority of people buy EVGA. I decided to go with PNY for a change and I am glad I did. The card installed easily and booted with no problems. I downloaded the latest drivers from Nvidia's website before the install, and that install went smoothly as well. The card scored a 7.8 in the Windows Experience rating. I'm not a heavy PC gamer, but I upgraded to this card so that I could do some more gaming on my machine, so I will try and update this review when I have more experience in that area. On thing to note is that you have to register the card in the first 90 days to get the lifetime warranty. Overall I am happy with the purchase.

My sons gaming computer relies heavily on vid card and would shut down during critical gaming moments because of over heating. We took a lot of time in determining what would do the job for the least amount of money, and this 560 Ti solved it all.
Good product.
