Tiny and PERFECT for on the keychain-anytime storage.

Tiny and PERFECT for on the keychain-anytime storage.
I've had one or more flashdrives since they were first readily available. I believe that my first drive was a 64mg drive even. This little guy is amazing. It's TINY and on my key chain, it blends in nicely (I got the silver one). It fits in well to all the USB slots I've tried and it works really well. I can see how it would get lost if not tethered to something, but then all flashdrives are like that. You can have it attached to your backpack, but I would imagine that it's hard to get your backpack up to and next to a computer when you need to use it (especially if it's full of books). I have mine attached to my key chain which works great, and putting your keys up to the computer (so you can attach the drive) is easy. Plus, you wont forget your drive as it is on your key chain (unless your walking home I suppose). It has a large enough memory storage to carry A LOT of stuff, pictures, music, programs, etc; and you will always have it (if you keep your keys with you). The small size of this guy is its biggest attribute allowing you to keep it with you so you'll have it when you need it, and that's always been the biggest problem with flash drives from my perspective. Before this one, I've always needed one when I didn't have it with me. It would be in my desk, when I was at a friends house, or I would put it in my pocket and wash the thing in the washer with my jeans, or I would have it with me, put it in my friends computer, but then forget about it and leave it there. They've been small enough to lose, but not small enough to be a keyring attachment; until now.

excellent buy i made, excellent. this fits on keychain, i bought one, and then came back to buy 4 more. i gave it one less star than perfect because that "excuse for a lanyard" is a false sense of security and made of second rate material. i wouldnt trust the strength of the chain, and also the clasp is always weak and partly open, which so happens the gap in that clasp is very close to the thickness of the ring it is attached to, so if you run to one side of the office to the other, it may just bounce in the perfect direction to free itself. i modified my USB drives to put on slightly larger rings ,and then attached some small size caribeaners (those little cliff climbing clips),

For some reason, this is the only flash drive that I haven't lost in the past year. Maybe because it's bright, neon pink? Hmmm...

Well, for whatever reason, this little guy has stuck by my side since the beginning. The most trustworthy friend a person could ask for. Is he a little slow? Yea, a little. But that's due to that hard, protective shell that's weighing him down. There have been times when it has fallen from the proportional height of a large bagel shop and every time, it comes out without a scratch! It's adorable and reliable, the best combination!

It hasn't failed me yet, so I would defiantly recommend it!

These little Gems are small, mighty and very durable.
Buy and handfull in multiple colors and toss them into your
laptop bag, dangle them on your key chain and be ready to
take your files and share them where ever you go.
These will be even more significant when they are cast in 8GB size.
I use them to archibe MP3 and Pix as well.
Great Value and quite affordable storage wonders that even
survive amoungst your pocket change.

It's so small that it takes a little working to get it in and out of the USB port smoothly. Other than that, it's an awesome product. Picture a piece of trident gum, only 3/4 tall and slightly wider - that's how big it is.

I needed a flash drive and bought an $8 2GB one from Walmart. I decided on price comparing what's out there before I ripped her open and saw this neat looking fellow at Best Buy. $20!!!! I checked on Amazon and saw that for the same $8 dollars I could get this sleeker guy and twice the capacity of the Wally World guy. Made the return to Walmart but I wound up spending more to skirt the shipping fees on Amazon. Hey, it's how they get you.

Gets here in the mail and it literally feels like the tops you pop off of soda cans. It's super light, feels like it's super easy to bend and break and no doubt really simple to lose. I clipped mine to my keychain but I'm not too sure that will last. Its grip is tenuous. I may reinforce it with a bit of string down the line.

So it's flimsy feeling. It hasn't broken, but I've only just got it.

I immediately plugged it into my MacBook and it needed no formatting, software updating, or other fancy pantsing. It worked. Simple as that. Bon!

It would not properly eject right away. That was cause for concern. I "right" clicked and chose eject and it eventually gave up the fight.

It also got pretty warm, pretty quickly. The way I understand it, electronics don't like to be hot so that may dip into its longevity. PNY does warranty it for a year and I am not shy about having things replaced under warranty. The thing is, nothing ever breaks in the first year. I give this a "meh" rating. I'll update after a couple month's wear and tear.

At $7.99, it may be a great purchase if you're trying to make the super saver shipping rate. If it were less than that, right now, I'd jump on it... I don't even feel the difference on my key ring.

I have used these drives to reach the "free shipping" minimum when shopping on Amazon. My first purchase I just got one, and use it hard and it's dependable and tough. Recently I purchased three more just to have in that "gift box" I keep around for when I should have gotten a gift but forgot...it's cheap, and on the shelf locally they cost $20!!! Great value, great product! It's cheap enough I've started loaning them to clients when I need their data. I even thought of having my business name engraved on them. Check them out in different colors; the prices vary. Seems like I only paid about $5 for the last ones I bought!
