I have always used Paslode guns on my remodel jobs but recently saw a need to go with air guns. I researched several web sites and even asked other contractors before deciding on Porter Cable. This is the 5th Porter Cable gun I have added to the collection. I purchased this one due to it being an angle gun and it can get into places others cannot. They are all light weight due to their magnesium bodies, no maintenance oil free, easy to load and easy to unjamb. They have a gun for all jobs from a 2 1/2" 16 gauge to a 1" pin nailer. I have used them on my past 3 jobs and have yet to have any jambs. I cannot think of anything else I could expect from a nail gun. Buy one, you cannot go wrong. One last thing, Amazon had the best price and free shipping.

I picked one of these up a couple of months ago to install some crown molding. I don't have any complaints. P/C makes good tools, and this one is no exception. It's relatively light, which makes it easier to use when on a ladder. I've only used it for a total of maybe 4-5 hours, but it hasn't had any jams or other issues so it gets a thumbs up.

My only complaint is that the plastic piece that you have to press against the surface of whatever you're nailing likes to move around on you. The plastic doesn't offer much in the way of friction to keep it in place, and when doing precision nailing it can be a bit frustrating as you may have to line up a few times before you can nail. It seems like they should've made this piece out of rubber so it would stay put.

I have several Porter Cable tools and again this is an excellent finish nailer. It came with an additional clip to allow you to hang the nailer from your side while working, Also, it allows for rapid fire of nails.

The nailer works great, but gave it 2 stars because the 2 inch nails that came with it (in a small box labeled Porter-Cable) would not work Disgusting that this would not be checked, and wonder how many got the same thing?? Thankfully, the Senco brand nails I had purchased worked fine.

Like all my other Porter-Cable tools, this one is a gem. I've got a framer, brad nailer and crown stapler. They all have served me well. It's easier to find Hitachi DA nails in the store where I live and they work great. I especially like the hanger clip that keeps the tool hanging with my hammer on my tool belt. It's easy to load and change nails. I've not tried the rapid fire trigger--can't see myself using it for trim work and cabinetry.

I am using this nailer to install crown moulding. It is not too heavy and places the nail right where you want it. it has a hook on it to hang it up but i have found it is not much use unless you are wearing a carpenters belt.

I needed to install over 1000 feet of trim molding in my vacation home and this finish nailer performed without a flaw. a lot of it was overhead, ceiling trim, window, and baseboard molding My previous brad nailers left me disappointed , it seemed like every tenth shot would jam the tool. but this nailer would perform as fast as I could load it. No jams no problems. Money well spent. And light and easy to use especially with the nail depth control. I would recommend this tool to my best friend.
