Great Crown stapler!

I bought this to staple down 1/4” U-Ply underlayment sheets (15 of them). I used 7/8 & 1” staples and ran air compressor at 100psi. In total I shot 7200 staples and it never jammed once! The depth control worked great. It was light weight and easy to move around. I wish it held more staples but no biggie, the staple window did let me know when I was getting low! Very happy with the performance,I would buy it again for a DIY project. Not sure how long it would last if you used it hard everyday. All-in-all, very good quality product for a DIY.

I have an older version that is still going strong, but will only go up to an 1-1/8". I needed to go up to an 1-1/2".
The nice thing about all the new PC small air tools is the relocation of the exhaust port to the end of the handle. I don't know about you but it seems like 90% of the time you would be firing from the same angle and have no problems, then you need to do some unique position, and blammo you get that blast of air into your eye, even with glasses on. Then you go back to the position you normally use, and forget you had rotated the vent to keep that form happening in the unique position, and blammo you get a blast of air in the face again!
It's a good quality tool at at reasonable price. It is comparable to all the other brand names and much less expensive then Senco or Spot Nail. Amazon also sells three or four very low cost brands, including Campbell Hausfeld and I am sure they all can get the job done. In fact I have a Master-craft I bought for 19 bucks that will do an inch and a half staple and brads as well. Though I have had to tare it down a couple of times to fix jambs and a poorly closing magazine. You get what you pay for. In the end you have to decide is it worth the potential trouble, and how much do you plan on using it?
I found it here on Amazon, as a returned in good condition item (one scratch) for mush less then list and that was all I needed to make the call. I needed the bigger magazine and the Master Craft I just couldn't trust anymore after ten years of abuse. It makes a good loner at work though.

Made in Taiwan and not China, which is a good thing. Still the same quality pneumatic stapler as when it was made here in the states, I hope the manufacture will start making it in the U.S. once again.

I have just about every kind of pneumatic nailiers, all are high quality and never failed me, used in construction, so you know they have been heavily used, but each still work like they were brand new, and yes they are Porter Cable.

I did buy the WEN 61710 3/8-Inch to 1-Inch 18 Gauge Narrow Crown Stapler at first,but had issues with it from the start with it jamming all the time. I should have bought this to begin with, since it does use the 1.5" staples that work better for repairing my yard fence vs the WEN that maxes out at 1" . One of the nice features of this gun is that it you don't need to oil it! I have used it only one time using both 3/4" staples and 1" staples, but work perfectly with no jams. Probably shot about 50 staples thru it. Build quality seems to be very good and it is light weight. It also has a tool belt hook that can be removed easily with a push button if you don't want it. I do own an air nailer from Porter Cable that I have had for a few years now, so I know the company makes good tools. I don't use these air tools often, but they seem to work well being on the shelve for 6 months at a time. I keep them in my hot NE FL garage all year round. This gun does come with a nice plastic case. I would buy it again.

It's amazing how the right tool makes a job easy, enjoyable and fast. My latest project is reupholstering 2 throne chairs with heavy upholstery fabric incl alligator-like leather. I already own an Arrow electric stapler. It's not made for upholstery, and when we used it to install the carpet on our stairs, it was a nightmare to use... manual pressure wasn't enough to get the staples through both the carpet and wood of the stair, and it constantly seized and jammed. I'm so glad I purchased this pneumatic staple gun - my 1s one-- even though I also had to purchase an air compressor. I love this thing even though it may not have all the bells and whistles! Sometimes a tool comes with more features than you'll ever use which costs extra. So easy to use, easy to connect to compressor, accurate, comfortable, light weight, fast, hasn't jammed once, takes different size & brand staples that are easy to find. I'm looking forward to using it on my next upholstery project starting today.

I am a Porter-Cable fan and have many of their pneumatic products. Would have given this one a 5 star rating except they kind of cheaped-out by ommiting the dust cap for the hose fitting. Other than that, if you need a great stapler look no further. I used it to install multiple gauges of hardware cloth for a chicken coop and run. About 2000 staples later, worked flawlessly.

This tool appears to be very well made and, if my prior experience with this brand is any indication, it will give many years of unfailing service.
I have a 18g Finish Nailer from PG for some years and was always happy about this tool. Extremely reliable and versatile with nails from 1" to 2 1/4" One deficiency of the nailer is that if you try to nail 1/4" or thinner veneer the nail goes too deep and does not hold too well. This is where staple is much better choice.
Also, as I have found that a single staple holds much better than one or two nails even assembling 3/4" panels that in the past I would do with a nailer.
This tool was designed to be compact and lightweight. It is probably a third lighter than my nailer and more compact that makes it easier to use in closed or inconvenient situations.
Unlike the nailer, this stapler has an adjustment for the depth of penetration so that you can either sink the staple below the surface or leave it on the top if you do not want to shoot thru thin stock.
Overall I am extremely satisfied with this tool.

I needed to repair some furniture in the RV. Worked great, easy to position and operate. Haven't used the depth adjustment yet as it was correct for my task. This will see a lot of use in the future.
Case is nice, holds the tool well.; I suspect it will break down over time a it is just injection molded plastic, but for now it's great.

Got this PC Crown Stapler from Amazon.CA Delivery was prompt. As for the stapler itself, I think the depth adjustment is only fair in its adjustability. I would have expected a more robust and less "plastic" adjustment control. It also didn't seem to have the range of depth that it should. Being oil-less is a nice feature. Don't have to worry about running out of tool oil, but only time will tell if the components last as long as my other air staplers and nailers which all require oil.
