There was no review on this one, but there was a review on the 3 qt white one. Thanks to that review I knew the top was wood. It doesn't really specify that in the description. And this brand had better reviews than the similar stands sold by Spot. Those reviews complained about wobbly legs. So I finally decided to go with the Ethical Pet one. The price was reasonable and they had it available in a 3 qt. I am so glad I did!
It has metal legs that are super sturdy. They are at least 3/4 inch thick. Adjusting was simple...I did it with one hand. The top is solid wood, but it is as smooth as plastic. The bowls slide just a bit, but I figure it is better than having them too tight to remove easily. They are good quality bowls like you would get at a pet store. The stand adjusts from 11 inches up to 18 inches. I only had to go up one notch for my lab, and no wobble at all. I am very satisfied. Great price, and a quality product! Highly recommended for large breeds!
The bowls are lightweight stainless steel. Inside bowl measurements are 7 1/4 inches wide x 3 inches deep.
The table top at its lowest setting is 9 1/4 inches. The table top at its highest setting is 13 1/2 inches. Table adjusts at 1 inch increments.
The entire table top measurement is 20 inches wide x 11 inches deep.
The bowl spins a little in its slot as my dog licks the bowl of every last morsel she can get. I think that this is normal in a table top where the bowl rest inside a cutout like this. The table leg extentions do get a little wobbly at the highest settings.

Bowls are a good size (we have a 60# dog). Only negative for this product is that the legs wiggle...we have solved this problem by placing it on a rug.Published 2 months ago by Myrtie
