I ordered and almost expected old, mushy potatoes according to some of the reviewers.
They obviously did not receive the same pototaes that I did.
Yes, they are expensive but if one is 76 yrs old, confined to wheelchair and home as I am, and have not had a fresh pototae in nearly two years, these are heaven sent.
They are better than the last fresh potatoes from local groceries when I was still able to go.
They do have the usual cut marks, but show me a fresh potatoe that doesn't these days.
These potatoes are nice and large for baking and firm and solid and feel good to the touch.
I just received mine and am preparing the first one to bake tonight for dinner.
Will update after tasting it.
Thanks to Amazon and the sellers that continue to bring fresh foods to us shutins.

WENT TO REORDER TODAY AS THESE WERE GOOD POTOTOES HOWEVER AT A HIGH PRICE. FIRST ORDER PRICE WAS ALREADY TO COSTLY AND TODAY FOUND THAT THAT COST HAD NEARLY DOUBLED. THEY ARE NOT THAT PRECIOUS AND WILL NOT BE REORDERING. HENCE THE DROP FROM A 5 STAR ITEM TO A 4 STAR ITEM.
