I am a hardcore gamer and I'll break down the good and the bad with this controller, if you game one way or another you might like or hate it. I have used the Onza and MLG MadCatz, none of these are currently better than the standard MS sadly, all have their issues.

PROs:
Good Feel

LED Lights, for show nothing more (can be turned off)

Buttons and Trigger feel firm, not slushy like MS's

Thumb-sticks are comfortable, BUT look at CON's too

Two different grips (don't know why anyone would use the glossy one?)

CONs:
D-PAD is horrible for fighter games, 1/2 circle and 1/4 circles rarely register

Thumb-Sticks feel good, but the concave aspect is too large, causing thumb to slip when strafing back and forth or aiming quickly. Inner concave is as wide as the standard MS thumb_stick width. (causes jumpy actions back & forth, hard to aim and zoom in one motion, very FIRM click required)

Extra packaging just to charge more money, I travel all the time but don't use
any carrying cases.

Thumb-sticks are Lock Tight'ed into place, can't remove to attempt some adjustments. Also, requires the justom 3 star head to take apart controller, the same as the Wii console.

All said and done, when I get time to take the controller apart and make a different thumb-stick I'll love this controller. I don't play fighters so the D-PAD issue doesn't matter to me. The aiming is sexy smooth while moving in one direction, but rapidly changing is when the large concave jumps around.

Amazing controller, love it. Smooth, might have to lower your sensitivity. Has awesome response. I love the left and right bumper buttons. Trigger buttons are very smooth. I definitely recommend it. I play alot if shooters and RPGs via BF4, Halo 4, borderlands, Skyrim, fallout 3 and NV. Etc. I am very happy with my purchase.Fits my hands nicely I have medium to small hands with sausage fingers.

These are great, but I wear them out too soon. I use a clawhammer grip when I play. The quality is there, I like wired controllers, but I get rid of them when the feel of the thumbsticks gets gritty. My problem, not the manufacturer's. For someone kinder and gentler, these ought to last years, and will.

This controller could be found at "Best buy" when I originally bought it. So straight up honesty on all questions I can imagine.

Pros-
-Sturdy. The analogs appeared to be calibrated with an adequate stiffness (so no movement of the analogs without it properly registering in the game).
-Swap in swap out handle grips. They are a nice feature. But literally... Pointless. The only difference when attaching the shell grips is needing to attach them to feel a different texture under your hands, which by the way, is hard plastic despite what the description in the products info can state otherwise. So there's no point to this option unless you prefer "smooth" or "ribbed" under your palms.
-The USB fit.
-The carry case. It's a nice place to put the controller away.

Cons-
-No silicone grips fit the analog sticks.
-No extenders will fit the analog sticks.
-No difference with attachable handle grips.
-Nothing special about controller.
-the "back button" sticks under the controller casing when pressed.

Overall-
This is a controller that offers nothing but swappable handle textures and a case. You can get more for your money with either HORI controllers or (shaking my head right now) Sabertooth controllers which are widely know for analog drift and ghosting (I'm not recommending Sabertooth controllers, I'm saying for the. 80 bucks they are running at this date you'll have more options. But not saying they are of better quality).

This controller is expensive because of it's packaging and extra parts, which are of no functionality and just cost more money. It was given two stats because it's highly overpriced, greatly exaggerated, and has unnecessary things that serve no purpose.

Lag while utilizing a wireless controller is noticeably reduced while using a wired controller and the joysticks require less travel to get the same response as the standard controllers. I think it's worth it if you want to get serious.

l LOVE THIS CONTROLLER. I should have bought one years ago. Don't wait, just buy one ( esp if they are on sale).
Sturdy, good grip choices, much less fade when playing than other 360 controllers i've used. I play shooter games and have found my 'gun' accuracy has improved with this, which is good since i need all the help i can get! :-)

I loved this controller...at first. Asthetically, its a well designed controller, but its not built very well. It worked great for about 5 or 6 months, then the analog sticks started going bad. Neither stick will rest in the "deadzone", they are both just barely off to the left. This results in maps scrolling by themselves, camera panning left constantly, and pretty much a useless controller. (Let me assure you this isn't due to overuse. If anything, I have a habit of pushing right on the sticks when I circle something, so if they were going to break due to usage they would have broken to the right.)

As soon as the problem started I unplugged the controller, spun both analog sticks to reset them, re-attached the controller, and re-calibrated it via WIN 7. Didn't fix anything, the sticks were still pulling to the left. I contacted PowerA support and they responded by telling me to...do exactly what I just did, re-calibrate the controller. I told them that I tried that with no success. Its been over a month and they haven't bothered replying so I can only assume they don't support their own product.

Thanks for nothing PowerA. I'll never buy one of your products ever again.
