This bench is made of 2" x 3" 14 Ga. tubing and has tapered upholstered cushions. There are separate seat and back pads. The seat pad can be adjusted down (shown at left) when in the incline positions so you will not slip forward while inclined. The bench has no removable parts to lose or misplace. The back pad has 5 adjustments. It adjusts from flat to 30, 45, 60 degrees and also military position. The bench comes mostly assembled with very little further assembly required. The bench pad (flat position) is 16" from pad to floor. The total length (flat position) is 50". The widest part (back leg) is 21".

PowerBlock’s customer service however, pretty pitiful.
As you see in the photos, there’s some damage to the handle. I figured it’d be an easy fix as it’s a relatively small part.
Not worth returning to Amazon and companies always want you to contact them first if missing pieces, damaged parts, etc.
So I did. They wanted to charge me, wait for it, $70 to ship the part to me. After I balked, the best they would do was split the shipping cost. $35.
No. A customer should never be out of pocket when something does not come new.
This wasn’t caused by shipping either. Just poor quality control.
I know I won’t buy another power block product again.
Looks and feels like a solid bench, until you get some weight on it. The construction looks fantastic, so I was really let down to see that this thing isn't stable. I am not sure if it is just my unit, or if this is a standard for the product.
The single bar that adjusts the height needs some sort of bracket on either side of cutout so the bar will not wobble or slide along the cutout. Performing chest presses with 100lb total weight felt like I was on an exercise ball. I love my powerblocks, but I can't vouch for this bench.
[We have a old bench that is 21" high and my wife's feet do not rest on the floor when the back is flat. When doing reverse flies, to have her head and chin clear the seat back she had to be spreadeagled and on her tiptoes, so form was always horribly wrong. ]
The bench is very solid. When bolting up the back lateral rail, have everything on a firm flat surface to get both legs in the same plane. The seat and seat back pivots have plastic washers that work well. These are bolted up in the factory. I tightened them a bit more, just enough, and there is then no play or wobble and it is then very solid. The brackets on the frame that hold the rear cross legs do need to bend in a bit during bolting up, so you will be tightening things down longer than expected. It would be best to have someone seated on the bench during tightening so this "distort to fit" is aided buy the bench been planted with some body weight. Perhaps overkill, but when you are an engineer, you think this way. All fasteners are 17mm hex and you will need tools.
This bench is the right size for women and for most men as well. It is easy to assemble and mover around. Very solid. The design avoids the things that are horrible about other benches. Someone did make an effort to design a better bench instead of just making another bench without really looking at what needs to be accomplished and how these things are used. I highly recommend this product.
We assembled on the ground floor and moving around on the back wheels was as very easy. We wheeled it down a hallway and found that the wheels made going down the basement steps extremely easy. So that was drama free.
It's pretty solid, no rattling or movement in the cushions and metal.
It's comfortable. The pads are pretty soft, and the gap has no discomfort in the tailbone area when benching flat with a barbell
It looks cool. The padding looks like some carbon fiber stuff and makes it look great in my garage gym
I'm still trying to figure out why it's doing this, but I have this set on some horse stall mats on a flat floor. And when I try to do some step up lunges or mimic a plyometric box, it wobbles too much.
I won't be using this for kther excersizes. So far, it seems to be stable when benching.
