I purchased these to replace the worn out pads on my PELTOR TACTICAL 100s. I initially purchased a set of the 3M brand gel replacement cups but I couldn’t get the 3Ms to fit so I peeled the cups off the plastic backing and re-stuck them to my stock backings.
I decided to give these a shot to replace my back up set of TAC 100s. Like the 3Ms, these were also a hair to big and I could not get them to fit! Instead of the PEEL N STICK method I used with the 3Ms, I decided to try a different route to solve the problem.
I busted out the Dremel and sanded away the friction lip around the ear cup bases. I took away a little bit of material at a time until it finally snapped in place!
The 3Ms look a little thicker than these, but fit, feel, and finish are almost identical. AND THEY ARE LESS EXPENSIVE!!! Other than the figment issues, I highly recommend these!
